of ugly words meant for ugly acts
committed by those with a pretty, polished front
little to no remorse residing within them
as they watch all the lies they've given out
remain with those they left to die
for when they themselves become
their own cause of death
autopsy reports would reveal
blackened hearts and dissolved tongues
( the acid had, after all, gotten to them )
