(JENNIE'S POV)

"Young lady, you will take over our company whether you like it or not!" Dad said with a serious tone.

"But dad, I don't think i'm capabl-"

"No buts! You can do it sweetie!" Dad replied cutting me off. Back to his normal self now, I see.

"You'll do great honey!" Mom added.

"Ugh you guys! I really just want to stay with my modelling career." I replied.

"And you will! While managing the company. Don't worry sweetheart, you have a secretary plus i'll come with you on your first day!" Dad said.

"And when is my first day exactly?" I questioned.

"Tomorrow." Dad said.

"Oh okay... Wait what!?" I replied.

Tomorrow? Are you freaking serious? I'm not ready for this! Ohmygod! I don't think I can do this! Should I run away? Ugh! This is so frustrating! I don't think I am capable for this!

I gave my parents a pout that no one can resist.

"Not gonna work this time sweetie! We're prepared for that pouty face of yours!" Dad replied.

Mom chuckled and gave me a hug and said.

"Sweetie, you can do it! We'll be cheering for you!" Mom added.

I sighed.

"Mmkay fine. I just... i'm gonna say sorry now if I ever disappoint you guys." I said, the last part with a sad tone.

"Oh honey, you will never disappoint us! Never, I tell you!" Dad replied while joining in the hug.

I smiled at them.

I guess I have no choice.

I'll just do my best then!

"Mmkay then! I have to go back to my apartment since I have to prepare for tomorrow!" I said, releasing from their hug.

"Oh alright honey!" Dad replied.

"You take care, honey! Oh and bring the food that I cooked! It's on the fridge! Tell Lisa we said hi!" Mom added.

"Thanks mommy! Sure sure, love you guys! Bye!" I said.

I quickly went to my car and drove off to my apartment.

Tomorrow, I will be the new CEO of our magazine company which is the Kim's Mag Inc.

I bet Lisa will freak out when I tell her later! Oh, Lisa is my roommate by the way! Well she lives in front of my apartment. Plus she's my friend and she also works for our company. She's a photographer/head of the fashion department. That's actually the reason how I met her. She is the person in charge of my photoshoots. As i've said before, I have a modelling career, so yeah!

Oh and did I mention Lisa and I dated before? But that was a long time ago, by the way. Right now, we're just friends. Well, at least I think we're friends. It's complicated okay?

I'm not gonna lie, I still like her but I don't know, Lisa's actually afraid of commitments. That's the reason why we ended our relationship in the first place. Bummer, I know. But at least we're friends right now. It's better than nothing.

I parked my car and quickly went over to Lisa's to tell her the news about me being the new CEO. I told you we're friends okay? We're that close, I know!

I knocked on her door and after a few moments, I was greeted by this unknown girl.

I furrowed my eyebrows and said.

"Umm... who are you? Where is Lisa?" I questioned her.

"I'm Momo, umm... i'm Lisa's friend. Oh and she's in the shower by the way. Do you want me to tell her that you came by?" This Momo chick said and smiled.

"Oh nevermind. I'll just come by later when you're gone!" I replied, raised my eyebrow, and tuned my back to her without saying a word.

What? I was pissed okay? I really don't like it when Lisa dates other girls. And by date, I mean sex, just sex. As i've told before, I still like her. I just... ugh!

I went to my apartment, huffing in annoyance.

"Fuck these feelings!" I muttered.

"Ugh!" I let myself fall on my bed and covered my face with a pillow.

A few moments later, I hear a knock on my door. I smirked because I know it's her.

I quickly got up and opened my front door. And I was right, it was Lisa. She was holding a bucket of milk ice cream. She smiled at me and said.

"Hey! My umm... my friend said that, I quote "someone with a pretty face and cat-like eyes came by a while ago with by the way, a totally pissed face when she saw me". So umm, I got you this!" She smiled awkwardly.

I gave her my poker face. Even though she's totally cute with bringing me ice cream, I won't give in. Well, not yet!

"Oh c'mon! Am I still not forgiven? I bought you this! Plus, she's my cousin Jennie. That's just gross!" Lisa said while pointing at the ice cream she's holding.

Wait what cousin? Did I hear that right?

I quickly snatched the ice cream from her hands and immediately closed the door and locked it.

"Jennie!!! Let me in!!! I bought that ice cream! That cost me 10 dollars, you know!" Lisa said while pounding on the door.

I was giggling behind my door and I know she can hear me. Kekeke!

"Damn it, you're lucky your giggles are cute! Now open the goddamn door, please!" She said.

I smiled.

Fine, I give in!

I unlocked my door and to my surprise she immediately tackled me thus, making us fall on the floor.

She fell on top of me.

Lisa is on top of me! Oh shit!

Both of our eyes widened.

I blinked a couple of times and my lips formed into a smirk.

"Do you want to take this on the bed, babe?" I said.

Her eyes widened even more and her cheeks turned red. I always love teasing her.

"Ugh Jennie! Stop with the teasing!" Lisa replied.

Lisa quickly stood up and offered her hand for me to help me get up. Of course, I gladly took it.

"Now c'mon let's eat dinner and then dessert after! I bet mama Kim cooked something for me huh?" She said while wiggling her eyebrows.

This girl! How can she be so fucking cute? Ugh!
