I look at myself in the long length mirror, my belly poking out of the shirt I'm wearing. I smile while rubbing the spot, earning a little kick in return, when our second baby first acknowledged its presence I was much less terrified as I've experienced once before although I'm still scared of what can happen if I make one wrong move in this pregnancy, one wrong move and it's all over. Peeta and I are much more prepared this time around but what makes things easier is how excited Pearl is about having a younger brother or sister, at my recent check up my mom said that the baby is healthy and really strong which was great to hear but what made me smile was how she said the baby has made themselves at home.

Peeta and I talked, we want Alder River as a boy name although we are split between two girl names. I'm drawn out of my thoughts when I feel arms snake around my waist and I look at the both of us in the mirror, we've lived this long to experience this twice, I would've never believed it if someone told me that all those years ago

"You're so beautiful when you're pregnant" he smiles, kissing my neck andplacing his hands on my belly, I turn in his arms with a smile

"I'm so happy. You make me happy, Pearl makes me happy" I take his hand and place it on my belly again "This baby makes me happy" I add

"I never knew that I could love someone so much. It's possible because I feel that way about you and our children" he says

"You're an amazing dad, Peeta. Not to mention an amazing husband" I press our foreheads together, his hands slide down to my butt and pulls me closer

"You are an extraordinary wife. Don't even get me started on how amazing you are at being a mother" he replies, I smile and our lips join together, I run my fingers through the hair at the nape of his heck, tugging at it

"I'm suppose to be at the bakery" he groans, I grin evilly

"By all means go to the bakery hot and bothered. Leaving your very horny and pregnant wife at home. Alone" the groan that escapes his lips reassures me that I've got him where I want him, with Pearl at school we both have multiple rounds but that also makes him extremely late for the bakery, at least I promised to make it up to him later on tonight.

"Can I feel the baby, mommy?" Pearl asks from her spot on the floor, I nod and she quickly gets up to sit with me on the couch, she places her hands on my belly, it's still for a moment before little kicks are felt against her hands, she looks at me with a bright smile

"Does it hurt?" She asks

"Mhm... not really, at least not all the time. It feels like this" I pick up her hand and press my finger into her palm but not enough to hurt

"Will the baby know what I sound like?" She asks, I smile at her

"Of course. You're the big sister after all, little duck" and her eyes brighten, she then begins talking to my belly just as Peeta walks through the door, looking with a smile, he sits on the other side of me and looks at our daughter enjoying this just as much as we are

"Oh! And you'll get to meet my friends Mason and Nessa and Johanna's new baby that will be here soon. I've got lists of toys that you can play with. I can't wait to meet you, very soon" Pearl kisses my belly and looks up at us

"Do you think the baby heard me?" She asks

"Every word" I reply, tucking a stray hair from one of her braids behind her ear

"You're going to be a great big sister, sweet pea" Peeta says. Our night goes on like every other night, Peeta makes dinner while Pearl and I sit at the table, reading one of the short stories her teacher said she and the other students have to read. Dinner gets served and we eat together, laughing at moments of our day, in the middle of our dinner there's a knock at the door, I look at Peeta worriedly, never really recovered from the fear of someone coming to take my family away from me and Peeta knows it
