Kinship: The psychic bond between an Alpha and Luna; a physical and emotional connection between the two.
Alpha: The leader of the pack; often the firstborn in a ruling bloodline.
Luna: The heart of the pack; born with the Mark of the Alpha—seen as a deity among many.
Beta: The second in command; a position given to the Alpha's closest and most trusted friend.
Omega: The common folk of the pack; often workers or guards.
Shiftless: A term used for children and teenagers who have not yet had their Shifting.
