Third person's pov

"Because I love you." The demon said as he looks up and Mark halted in his smile.

Mark didn't know how to act or know what to say. It's the first time someone confessed to him and it's a demon nonetheless. The demon stared to him like he's waiting for an answer or rejection but Mark thought it is too fast to answer because he never thought of love before.

He knew he admired the demon on his front but he still didn't ponder on what love means and if he is going for it. Like Lee Jeno for example, one of their superior that still didn't have any lovers as the rumours said so. They said Jeno loves funny things better and laugh at it rather than love.

Some said he is cursed but no one can prove it. He is a very young angel that had become their superior. He was immediately put as their superior before the younger was even born. Many angels had told the tale that the God had wrote his fate like that.

Besides, Its not like they can walk and ask one of Jeno's colleague near his age or ask Jeno directly about any of this. But still, Jeno's story is not helping him in his current situation. Mark thought his life would go on like Jeno for the decades before he actually experience it. He never thought it would come this early. He didn't know if he showed any action or emotions related to love.

Mark is not ready. At all.

"Uhm." Mark cleared his voice "Are you serious?" He followedn

"I am." The demon said.

"But isn't it too fast? I mean we just met for the second time today." Mark stepped back and Taeyong stopped him.

"It's not fast, I've wasted a year already after Jaemin said you won't accept me because I cursed and killed the dog." Taeyong hastily explained and gripped his shoulder as if Mark would vanish if he let go.

"The dog is very much alive though?" Mark knew that its not that important especially when the demon looked like he is one step away from pinning him down to the ground but he can't help but convenes the truth.

"What do you mean?" Taeyong asked.

"I mean, Doyoung said a demon came and lifted the curse from the dog, Jaehyun said its Jaemin?" Mark said as he tried not to think too much of the confused emotion of the demon on his front and answered the question until he realized that the name he said was also mustered by the demon earlier.

"He did?" Taeyong's forehead creased and then vanished just as fast.

"Yes. That's the same name they said." Mark said as if he needs the demon to believe him

"I don't know what he's planning on and for the moment I don't care.", The demon said expectantly as if he is waiting for some words to come out from Mark's mouth.

"Oh. Okay.. uhh.. hm why don't we start as friends?" Mark said and it made the demon a bit agitated.

"Friends? I'm not just gonna be your friend, Mark." The demon said with a low voice.
