"What do you mean you can't?" You said confused. Toothless looked down, his eyes looked watery. You walked back over to him. "Toothless?"
"When i was younger i was shot down by a dragon net..."
"What? Who shot you down?"
"Hiccup, but I got him back. I took his leg off when I was trying to save him. It wasn't on purpose, but neither was that, so were equal now"
"Well how does hat have to do with you flying?"
"My tail broke. I have a fake one now"
"Yeah, I noticed the red, but how come you can't fly with it?"
"It's only useable if hiccup controls it"
You looked at Toothless, his face looking terribly sad. You lied down next to him and comforted him. "It's gonna be okay"
Toothless POV
I purred as (y/n) leaned against me. I cared about her, but she didn't understand. I licked her (s/c) nose and she blushed. "Thanks" I said. I cared about (y/n) more then she could ever understand, and she wouldn't because I can't tell her. I know I just met her, but I feel some sort of connection. I leaned closer to her closed my eyes, a tear falling down my face.
