Chapter 26

Mei just walked up to her then bowed down introducing herself to the lady
"I am Mei Aihara. Yuzu's teacher. It's nice to meet you Mrs. Okogi" Mei said
"Oh a pleasure to meet you too Miss Aihara" Mrs. Okogi said
"Wh-why are you here?" Yuzu asked as she avoided her eyes
"I was worried about you. I came here to check up on you" Mei said
"Well now you checked up on me now leave" Yuzu said
"Yuzu don't treat your teacher like that. She's worried and came all the way here to see you. Be respectful" Her grandmother said
"Sorry grandmother..." Yuzu mumbled looking down
"Don't worry ma'am. I was just about to leave anyways. My grandfather needs me..." Mei said
"Oh I see. You're the one inheriting the Academy right?" Mrs. Okogi asked
"Yes ma'am" Mei said
"Well I really hope you have a great night and thank you for caring about my dear Yuzu. You don't know how much she needs someone right now..." Mrs. Okogi said
"I understand and I will help her in any way I can" Mei said. Yuzu just let out a low growl and clenched her fists tightly
Stop fucking lying...
"Well I hope you all have a good night. I'll be leaving now. I'll be seeing you on Monday. Please get better" Mei said
"Thank you Miss Aihara. Yuzu what do you say?" Her grandmother asked. Yuzu just looked up meeting up with Mei's eyes
"Thanks you...sensei" Yuzu said. Mei nodded and walked out the door
"What was that Yuzu?" Her grandmother asked
"What was what?" Yuzu asked
"What's wrong with you Yuzu? Why were you acting like that?" Her grandmother asked
"W-well...it's nothing..." Yuzu said
"Yuzu did something happen between you two?" Her grandmother asked
"No...it's nothing" Yuzu said and laid down on the bed. Her grandmother looked at Shai seeing the woman next to her
"And you must be?" Mrs. Okogi asked
"Oh where are my manners. I am Celeste Momokino. A pleasure to meet you Mrs. Okogi" Celeste said
"Mrs. Momokino...thank you for helping Shai out" Mrs. Okogi said
"No problem. I'm glad to help someone out...especially her" Celeste said and stroked Shai's hair softly. Shai smiled softly and hugged her
"I'm happy you're here" Shai said. Celeste just smiled and patted her back softly. Himeko stood there glaring at her mother with Shai and noticed someone's glare. She looked at the blonde delinquent and Yuzu was glaring at her. Himeko just rolled her eyes and walked out
Stupid delinquent...

"Where's Matsuri? How is she doing? We heard some screaming" Soha said
"Well...Matsuri is asleep. The nurse had to put her to sleep after...she saw her body..." He said as he looked down
"I'm so sorry...I wish I could've done something sooner" Soha said
"It's not your fault...she knew this day would happen and she was ready for that day to occur. Heh...Matsuri probably hates me..." He said as he teared up
"Don't say that. Matsuri just needs to understand..." Soha said as she patted the old man's back
"Now I understand why she said she couldn't bare to see her cry...seeing Matsuri in pain...seeing her cry..." The old man mumbled before her fell on his knees with tears rolling down his cheeks
"Grandpa!" Nitski exclaimed and held him
"You okay?" Juhin asked. The man nodded as he reached up and held Soha's hand
"Soha...please take care of our sweet Matsuri. I-I don't think...I'll be able to c-care for her anymore" The old man said as he cried softly. Soha held his hand and nodded
"You have nothing to worry about. I promise I will always protect her and care for her" Soha said as she kneeled down. The old man just looked at her and smiled at her softly
"Hey old man...crying over that old hag's death? Get over it. You knew she was going to fuckin die anyways" Taruto said. His father looked up at him then stood up
"What the hell are you doing here?" He asked
"I came here for money. That old hag must've at least left something for me" Taruto said
"Do you really think your mother will give you anything after the way you treated us and your daughter? She left the rest of her fortune for Matsuri..." He said
"What the hell!? That brat can't have her fortune! Isn't that brat going to be rich anyways just because she'll be living with this sluts?" Taruto said
"Excuse me but may you please leave. This is a hospital and you need to keep your voice down" The nurse said. The old man glared at him as he walked up to him grabbing his shoulder tightly
"Let's talk outside..." He mumbled. Taruto growled and followed his father out the hospital
"I'm glad that old hag is dead. She always talked shit about me and never thought about me" Taruto said
"Your mother took care of you and did her best to give you a good life! You were the one screwing around fucking up your entire life!" The man shouted
"Heh well it doesn't matter anymore...that bitch is gone for good. Now that Matsuri will be living with those bitches that makes me family with them...hehe what fun-" Taruto felt this painful sting that made him cough blood. Taruto gasped for air and coughed more blood. He trembled and fell to the ground coughing more and more blood
"O-old man..." He mumbled and clenched his fists tightly. His father chuckled and kicked his face hard
"You're just like me...the way you treated Matsuri was the way I wanted to treat you. I always despised you ever since you were born...I hated you with all my guts. I wanted to kill you but your mother prevented me from doing it. She was always so caring and loving towards you...but I always hated you" He growled then kicked him knocking him down
"C-crazy old man...u-ugh... " Taruto groaned
"You know...since your mother isn't around that means I can do whatever the hell I want with you. I can finally get rid of you...forever" He growled as he grabbed him by the throat lifting him up. Taruto struggled to breathe and trembled staring at his father's eyes
"If only your mother just never cared for you...I could've just gotten rid of you when I had the chance. You ruined your mother's life...and ruined our dear Matsuri's life...time for payback for the things you've done to both your mother and Matsuri!" His father shouted as he slammed Taruto's head against the hard brick wall
"A-ack! Aaaaah!" Taruto cried in pain as his head began to bleed. His father just lifted his body then slammed it down on the concrete ground hard
"Die! I don't give a shit about you!" His father shouted as he slammed his body to the ground again
"Hey! Stop right there!" A guy said as he saw the scene
"Shit..." He said and ran away leaving his son's body on the ground. He entered an alley and stayed hidden as the guy passed by looking for him. He sighed in relief and clenched his fists tightly
"That asshole...I will make him suffer...I'll kill him" He said and walked out the alley seeing paramedics already with Taruto. He just walked away going nowhere. He looked up at the night sky and sighed deeply
"Why....why did you have to leave? If only she were here...by my side...our life together would've been great...why me" He mumbled as he looked down
If only we had him here...he could've helped us out. Man...he was the one who could've helped us out all along. Why did he have to disappear like that? Why did you vanish...Yung Okogi?

After the tragic incident everything went back to normal. Everyone headed home and the Taniguchis left as well going back to their mansion. Hojo just finished a call and hung up the phone then turned around to look at his family
"Soha...where were you?" Hojo asked
"Seeing a friend..." Soha lied. Hojo just chuckled softly and walked up to her
"Do you think I'm stupid? The news about those girls spreaded everywhere. You went to see that brat...right?" Hojo asked. Soha just clenched her fists tightly and looked away avoiding his stern eyes
"So it's true...unbelievable" Hojo said and glared at Harumin
"And you Harumi...I thought I said to stay away from that bitch" Hojo said
"I-I did but we only-"
"No no no don't say that you just talked. I know you did more things with her" Hojo said disgusted
"We never did things!" Harumin shouted
"Don't raise your voice at me! I just gave you a simple task to stay away from her and I still went to talk to her" Hojo said
"Hojo enough. Just leave her alone. She's not a kid anymore. Let her do what she pleases" Soha said
"Yeah you're right. She's not a god damn kid" Hojo said and slapped Harumin across her face. Mitsuko's eyes widen and trembled
Flashback
Mitsuko was on the floor crying and trembling
"Get the hell up Mitsuko. If you're just gonna cry like that then you will never succeed in life" Hojo said sternly
"Leave her alone Hojo! She's just 5!" Soha said as she held her closely
"It doesn't matter what age she is! She has to learn! Now get out of my way!" Hojo said and kicked Soha. Mitsuko trembled and looked at her mother
"M-mama..." Mitsuko mumbled and crawled up to her but Hojo grabbed her by her hair then slapped her hard across her face multiple times and each slap just got harder and harder
"Stop! Please! Papa! Noooo!" Mitsuko cried as her cheek was completely red
"This is what you get for playing sick video games! They're nothing but a distraction from succeeding! I told you to stay away from those stupid games!" Hojo shouted
"Leave her alone!" Soha shouted as she began hitting him trying to save her daughter
"Get off me woman!" Hojo said and slapped her as he kept holding Mitsuko by her hair
"M-mama!" Mitsuko cried
"Mommy won't always be there for you. Grow up Mitsuko! Do you think life will be about fun and games? No! To succeed you have to not care for others and just think about yourself. The more money we get the more power we get which will make us the Taniguchi be the richest and powerful company in the country. So you better start acting like an adult and forget your sick video games..." Hojo said letting her go. Mitsuko trembled and cried
"Do you want me to slap you again?" Hojo asked
"N-no!" Mitsuko cried
"Then grow up and stop crying. You are not a baby. You will inherit our family's company" Hojo said and left. Mitsuko crawled up to her mother. Soha cried and held Mitsuko carrying her then running up to their room where the 3 year old Harumin was waiting. Harumin tilted her head not understanding what was going on and just saw her mother and sister crying
"M-mama...I'm scared...wh-why is he hurting me? I-I don't want to get slapped again Mama" Mitsuko cried. Soha held her closely as she cried as well
"I'll always be by your side Mitsuko. No matter what I promise to be here" Soha said between sobs. Harumin crawled up to them and looked at them both. Mitsuko grabbed Harumin pulling her into a hug
"M-mama little sis won't get hurt r-right?" Mitsuko asked holding Harumin closely. Soha wrapped her arms around both of her daughters holding them closely
"I promise..." Soha whispered
End Of Flashback
Mitsuko reacted and grabbed her father's wrist as he was about to slap Harumin again
"Leave her alone...please" Mitsuko said. Hojo just removed his hand and walked away but stopped
"And that Mizusawa bitch...I better not see her here unless you want her to get hurt" Hojo said and giving them a glare before he walked upstairs
"Tomorrow we will have dinner with my family so be ready and behave" Hojo said. Harumin just teared up holding her cheek. Soha hugged her closely and stroked her hair softly
"It'll be okay...I promise" Soha whispered
"Mother...will he really hurt...Matsuri?" Mitsuko asked
"He won't...I won't let Matsuri suffer like that ever again" Soha said
"Wh-what do you plan to do to stop him?" Harumin asked
"You two will be moving out..." Soha said
"What!?" They both exclaimed
"You will be moving out today. Right now. Immediately" Soha said
"M-mother we can't leave you with h-him" Mitsuko said
"Sis is right. We can't leave you here alone" Harumin said
"I'll be alright. You two head over to Matsuri's place" Soha said as she gave them a warm smile
"M-mom...you're important to Matsuri. She'll want you more than us" Harumin said
"I'll be okay. I promise I'll be safe but right now...it's best to get you both ready" Soha said and headed upstairs then stopped as she looked at her two daughters
"Promise me you two will be great big sisters with Matsuri" Soha said
"We promise" They both said as they nodded
