I would like you to be someone that I like

I would like to state for the record

You are convenient

And that's everything about you that I like

I would like you to know I hear you trying to make conversation

Just barely

Over the whisper of literally anything else

I would like you to know it's not you

It's your personality

And just how fucking boring you are

I would like you

If you were fun

And if I wasn't an asshole

But instead I'll save us some time

And you, a heartache

By admitting I really don't like you

And I would like to be sorry
