The mysterious guy who had both the Fierce Deity Sword and mask stared Link down. He truly looked like a deity, the markings on his face and the way he glows defined it.
Link was keeping a close eye on him, knowing that the enemy would make a move any second. "Who are you?"
Silence filled the air. The mysterious guy spoke up, his voice sounding unnaturally deep. "You can call me Kishin."
"Kishin? Isn't that just another way of saying Fierce Deity?"
"You are correct. I can tell you're not from here. Where is your homeland, assassin?"
Link swallowed. He knew this enemy was only making small talk just to distract him. "Hyrule."
"I see. Let me guess... You were sent here to claim this sword and mask. Am I wrong?"
Link squinted his eyes. "Like I would answer that so easily."
"I'll be taking that as a yes. Well then..." Kishin pointed the sword towards Link. A ball of light started forming at the tip of the sword. "It seems like I have to stop you from doing so."
Once the beam shot from the sword, Link jumped sideways to dodge it. The beam ended up hitting a tree, completely disintegrating it. "That's the power of a deity, huh?" It would be hard, but Link knew the best way to defeat this enemy was close combat.
Running towards Kishin, Link swung his sword downwards. Kishin ended up encountering it with his sword, pushing Link backwards without effort.
Link felt his feet digging into the ground, struggling to keep up with this enemy's strength. Kishin saw an opening, slicing his sword towards Link.
The sword managed to slice Link's cheek. He jumped backwards, now a distance away from Kishin. A line of blood dripped down his face. "This guy... Whoever he is... Has enhanced strength. Damn it all."
"Do you see how strong I truly am? I'm not like the other enemies you have faced before."
Link smirked. "That may be true. But I won't back down so easily. Even if you're like a god."
"Foolish assassin. I am a god."
"You wish." Link lunged forward, pointing his sword straight towards Kishin. As it looked like he was about to stab him, he disappeared. Link looked around his surroundings, trying to see where he was hiding.
Looking up, Link saw Kishin landing straight down towards him. Flipping backwards to dodge it, the Fierce Deity Sword ended up stabbing the ground, forming a giant crater.
Link grunted at the sight. If he would've gotten hit by that, he would've most likely died. If he somehow survived, there was no way he could move with that hit. All of his bones would be fractured.
