Stars In The Dark

CHAPTER 1

BLACK'S POV:

"Black, please listen to your mom. Ginawa ko yon with a purpose." my mom said on the phone

"It's unfair mom, palagi na lang si Blake ang kinakampihan mo. What about me, what about my dream?!" I said

Yeah, I have a twin brother named Blake, pero lumaki ako na palaging sya ang nasusunod because he's younger than me, even our clothes, our schools, but not this time.

"Please, Black. Nasan ka na ba? Ipapasundo kita kay kuya Raul."

My tears suddenly fell down to my chin, I wipe it with my hands and try to breathe slowly to calm myself.

"Hayaan nyo muna ako."

Magsasalita pa sana si mommy pero I turn off my phone, I was driving that time, in the middle of the night.

And suddenly.....

An old woman walking behind the dark and blury street. Iniwasan ko sya at dahil don.

Dahil sa pagkakamaling iyon....

Dahil sa pagtatangka kong lumayas sa bahay noon...

Nabulag ako.

3 MONTHS AFTER.....

Sobrang saya ng lahat, naghanda sila, may mga magagandang music akong naririnig,

tawanan with my mom's Batchmates and Blake's friend.

Sobrang saya nila, but not me,

I'm still here in my bed laying, trying to find the stars in my dark sight.

"Bro, come outside. Nandon sila Fred, hinihintay ka nila sa baba." narinig kong wika ni Blake, my twin brother

I smirk at him, "As if you care." I sarcastically said

"Black, hanggang ka ba magiging ganyan? You suppose to be happy dahil finally-----"

Hindi na nya naituloy ang sasabihin nya ng pangunahan ko sya.

"Dahil finally naka-graduate ka na ng Señior high school at ako hindi. I said, tumayo ako sa kama,I walk slowly not to follow his request to go outside but to get my guitar."Funny right?" I added

I sit down in my bed and try to play my guitar.

"Kuya." Blake's last word until he finally walked away & close my door

"Mababalik pa kaya ang nawalang kulay ng buhay,

Hindi na ba makikita ang mundo sa piling mo...." wala na akong maisip, hindi ko na rin kaya pang maglagay ng kasunod na lyrics. So I throw it away.

"Black, what are you doing?" nandon pala si mommy, sana hindi sya natamaan ng guitarang ibintao ko sa kung saan.

"Wala na akong maisip na lyrics eh, that's why I throw it away."

Suddenly, I just heared the door's close.

I try to calm myself and breathe slowly,

and then, narinig ko ang mga yapak ni mommy papunta sa akin.

"Son, I'm really sorry for what happened, f-or all of this. Sana ako na lang ang nabulag at----"

"Nangyari na, ano pa bang magagawa ko?" I said to her

"The doctor said, your case is temporary blindness. So it means that you'll be healed. Basta kailangan mo lang gawin yung treatment mo every----"
