During lunch time a painful silence was filling the room.
I usually discuss with my parents a lot during lunch or dinner.
But, this time it seems like they're not in the mood at all.
They seem disappointed.
I'm sure of what they're thinking:
''Even though we discussed about this issue so many times you didn't understand a thing, did you?! We always tell you that the only thing you should seriously focus on is school Y/N!''
I should say something.
I can't let them think that I did something wrong.
I won't let them make ME think that I did sonething wrong.
Beacause I didn't.
We didn't do anything wrong.
Without looking at them I start talking.
"You know....I trully like this boy. And he likes me too."
I would say 'love' but I thought it would sound much more upsetting to their ears.
"Congratulations."
Says my dad ironically
I stand up immediatly.
"Stop acting like this, right now!! He makes me happy! He makes me feel that I'm not alone anymore!
Isn't this important to you?!
I feel so great for the first time in my life and you want to ruin everything!!"
They're listening to me silently
They can't even look at me
My dad suddenly stands up
"Can't you realize that that's your last year in school?!
If you won't focus this year what are you gonna do then?!"
"Is this the only thing that matters to you?!
Dad please understand this thing..."
"What?!"
"I'M IN LOVE!"
He sighs deeply
"Don't act like you know what love is Y/n."
"But-"
"And don't you dare meet that boy these days! You need to prepare yourself!"
"I know that already!"
"Does he know?!"
"Yes! And he's as sad as I am!"
Before he answers I run to my room
I feel hot tears filling my eyes but I don't want to let them fall right now
"It's fine...there are only three days more..and then I'm all yours"
I whishper to myself..
I take my phone to text him
Hey.
Please don't try coming here tonight..
My dad is really angry..
He answers immediatly
Why?? What happened??
I explained him everything with details
-Can I call you? I want to make sure you're alright. I want to hear your voice.
-Call me
I pick it up quickly so that nobody hears it ringing
"Hey.."
I wishper
"Heyy..Are you feeling ok?"
"Yes..thank you for calling me.."
My voice is shaking as I can't help but crying quietly...he notices.
"Please calm down babe..."
His P.O.V.
She sounds so overwhelmed by what happened and it breaks my nerves that I can't hug her right now..I'm drowned to my thoughts as I hear her voice again
"It's fine...three days more and then...I'm all yours"
I sigh to her beautiful words
"This is gonna be the best school year y/n. I promise you that."
"I'm sure of it babe..."
She says softly but I can still hear her sobbing.
