She gently opened her eyes and fixed them on the ceiling, she stayed like that for some minutes trying to decode what happened earlier. She turned her head to the left and then turn it again to the right.
It's 'our' room
"Thank God you're awake" she heard from the door, it was Umm Rafeeq, she popped her head through the door
"How are you feeling now, is the pain still there?" she said walking into the room, it was then that she realized what happened, Earlier she was suffering from a severe stomach ache and she was even crying in the bathroom when suddenly everything became dark.
She placed her hand on the left side of the stomach, the pain was still there but not as much as before, it has lessen now.
"Alhamdulillah The pain has lessen now"
"MashaAllah that's nice, now get up and take your bath, so that you can eat Lunch and take the medicine ".
"What time is it now? " Umm Rafeeq checked her phone
"It's 1:15 in the afternoon now" she replied. Khairee immediately popped her eyes out
"What" she said shockingly " I've been sleeping for several hours?"
"Yes, five to be precise" Umm Rafeeq nodded. "After you fainted in the bathroom, I brought you back to the room, sprinkle some water on your face and thankfully you released a deep sigh and slept that instant". She narrated.
Khairee stood up and almost run to the bathroom living Umm Rafeeq on the bed.
"Wayyo Allah nashiga uku(Oh God I'm doomed) " Umm Rafeeq heard Khairee's scream from the bathroom, she immediately rushed to the bathroom and barged in. She saw her sitting on the floor her hands were tightly around her knees, face was filled with both tears and mucus.
"Oh Allah khairee what happened?" she asked her face was laced with so much concern
"I....I p..peed.....b..blood" khairee shuttered
"What, What do you mean you peed blood, How?" Umm rafeeq asked confused. At that moment the twins came rushing into the bathroom
"What is going on here, are we safe?" Hasna asked hands akimbo
"Nothing..ummm of course we are safe" It was Umm Rafeeq that answered her questions
"Are you sure?, I heard a loud scream from this room, I thought something was wrong" husna insisted
Umm Rafeeq let out a not so loud chuckle and said
"You won't believed it, All that wail was for a mere cockroach, you're incredible khairee" the twins released a hiss and spoke at the same time
"A Cockroach?" they said "You let out that wail because of a simple insect that isn't even aware of your existence, just look at how disgusting your face looks ewww" Khairee just ignored them, their taunts are not important to her now.
"Hasna" Umm Rafeeq called in a warning tone "Every one has his/her own weakness don't you know that? If you ain't going to Comfort her then why add fuel to the fire?"
"Oh" was just what she said and left the room with her sister trailing behind her. Umm rafeeq turned to khairee
"Tell me now..what happened?"
"I don't know, when we were talking in the room, I felt something coming down there so I quickly rushed to the toilet I thought It was pee" she paused
"But when I removed my pants to sit, I saw blood on it" she finished explaining. Umm Rafeeq thought for some seconds before she smiled widely.
"Okay I understood, Now stand up and take your bath, I will wait for you in the room" she said and headed out.
