"Don't! Please don't! I don't want to be alone!" I say, screaming as I push my face against my leg as if I all the pain would disappear. My arms wrapping around my legs as I sit on the cold wooden floor.

I open my eyes and immediately sat up. My shacking hands clutches my blue bed sheets while sweat drip from my forehead. I take deep breaths, trying to calm my heart.

Finally my heart beat became stable after a minutes. I open my phone and see that it is still three forty nine in the morning. I stand up and start walking to the bathroom that connected to my room.

After showering, I step out of the bathroom that connected to my room with a towel. One wrap around my head, the other around my body.

I looked at the my phone and see that it is still four twenty. I look at Cubs, my Pomeranian brown dog, who is just as awake as I am.

"Hey Cubs", I crouch down and scratch his head  "You wanna go outside for our walk??"

I smile as he barks and waggles his tail showing me that he is happy to accompany me. I choose to wear a black oversized hoodie, some tattered jeans and a pair of black nike shoes.

I took the black leash that I bought for Cubs from the my closet. I also took my phone, earphones and some money. I carried Cubs in my arms and looked at my room, making sure that I didn't leave anything important behind.

Finally deciding that I don't need anything else, I went down stairs as quietly as I could. I open the front door and saw a...moving truck?

Miss Daphne's house was already been bought? It hasn't been a three weeks since she left. Miss Daphne move a year ago even though she is a kind woman, I somewhat held a grudge against her.

"We have new neighbors"

My moms voice echoed in my head. My mom can seriously be a weirdo at times. She is a author who sells a book about random things. Honestly, sometimes she tries to be all psychic and set up our lives.  I chuckle as I shake my head before walking away with Cubs.

Cubs and I walked to my favorite place in the whole world. The treehouse, which was hidden in the woods. It's not that far from the neighborhood. Me, Conner and... Tod made the treehouse by ourselves. The only ones who knew about it is me, Tod, Conner and Cubs.

This is where we would go when we don't want anyone to find us except Conner. Conner just wanted to know what his younger brother, Tod, was doing and decided to help us make the treehouse.

But since then he hasn't come to the treehouse. In fact, it was only me and Cubs who takes care of this place.

Even though it's small, for me it is home. I carried Cubs as I walked through the wooden stairs. When we were younger, we thought that it was better if we made the treehouse tall enough so that when we become grown ups we could still go inside.

Which was my idea of course. The treehouse has a small balcony, but it big enough for two people to walk side by side. The house is colored walnut brown even though I wanted it to be black.

I step inside the tree house and see the fairy light dangling from the ceiling, fluffy bedsheets with pillows on the floor, and shelves in corner which had jars, books and other stuff.

Thankfully Conner was a high school student when we built this otherwise Tod and I wouldn't be able to have this place. I looked at Cubs who ran towards the bedsheets.
