"Oh...hell no" I say, my brown eyes widen.

"Vix-"

I quickly walk away before he could say anything. I walk fast towards our table with a blank expression in my face. I sit down beside James and lean against his shoulder.

That wasn't really him right? There's no way he could be here. He left two years ago. Everyone said that he left for good, so there was no point in getting depressed.

"Hey Evie, you ok?" Stella says with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah. I'm fine", I tell her with a fake smile.

'I'm fine' just like always. It's not like anything would change if tell the them that I wasn't. Not only that but I'm sixty percent sure that it was just my imagination. Yup! It's all in my head.

"Uhh...Sis where's your lunch?" James said look at my empty hands.

"Ow! Ummm..." I look back at the food area and see him looking at our way. I feel James moving his head to see what I was looking at. "I'm not hungry anymore", I say quickly, looking at James in the eye as I try to sound convincing.

See? Just my imagination. No can just disappear in a blink of an eye and just appear two years later as if nothing happened. Right?

"Anyway, did you guys hear? " Tasha says with enthusiasm in her voice. My brother and Austin look at me worried but decided not to question me any further.

Thank you Tasha for changing the topic! Hopefully, This day would end quickly without anymore drama or any hallucinations.

"Hear what?" Miley asks before biting a piece of French fry.

"Bryan left the team! Which means that they're gonna hold try outs for quarterback", Tasha says grinning.

That's Tasha for you. Always looking for ways to see a hot guy running around half naked. I'm pretty sure that's mostly the reason why she joined cheerleading.

Still even if she wasn't a cheerleader, tons of guys would still fall for her. Even after knowing the whole 'No dating policy' she makes. Her red hair, fair skin and light brown eyes really makes her stand out.

"Seriously? I honestly don't care about football. All I wanna do is read a good book", Miley says showing her book of 'Fault in our Stars'.

Out of all of us, Miley was the least out going person in our group. Miley is our little bookworm of the group. I meet her a year ago. She absolutely stunning with her blonde wavy hair and brown eyes. Not only that but she likely to be our valedictorian.

I'm the one with the boring long wavy black hair and plain black eyes. My brother was the one who inherited the great genes.

"I honest don't understand any of that bullshit", my brother says pointing at the book in her hands.

"It's not bullshit! It's a-", Miley says , waving her hands as she was about to explain.

"Hey Evie", I look behind to see Bertha and her two lakies who stood behind her on each side. Macy, the one with the black straight hair, stood at Bertha's right while Carla, whose afro hair was tied in a bun, was on her left. All three of them were holding their own trays.

This is Bertha. Our own Cliche wannabe queen. She has slept with almost half of the students in our school. Whether it may be a boy or a girl. She swings on both ways as long as she gets to be on top of our so called society ladder.

Macy and Carla has been following Bertha for six years now. Always picking up the left overs. I tried being friends with them in first grade but they decided that my lunch should be properly introduced to my hair.
