Brian's P.O.V
"Do you cut yourself?" I asked. Risky play Brian.
"Why the hell would you ask that?" He shifted uncomfortably on his feet.
"Well you wouldn't answer my previous question about your hands so I assumed..."
"No Terroriser. I don't cut myself." He sighed looking down at his hands marred with scars. "I just have had a hard time trying to get money." I looked ahead, averting my eyes from his gaze. I could feel Moo stare at me.
"How so?" I asked, placing my hands in my jean pockets. We kept walking down the sidewalk, I had no idea where we were going but Moo seemed to know.
"My mom and dad died from a plane accident while they were on the way to my cousins wedding. I was at home with a baby sitter when it had happened. My babysitter found out and took me to an orphanage, I was kicked out at sixteen, yada yada yada." He rolled his eyes. "I found Mini when I was at that age. We had known each other previously and decided that we should move in together to afford rent at a rather run down apartment building."
"Who's Mini?"
"My roommate, he's been with me for forever. He's a police detective and he is very good at what he does. One of the best in the company. Just ask him." Moo chuckled slightly. "He personally thinks that the officers here are worthless, and he definitely isn't wrong."
"I like this guy."
"I have a feeling you will. I'll introduce you to once we get there." He smiled.
"That's where we are going..." I trailed off.
"Where did you think we were going? The park?" I rubbed the back of my neck.
"I'm a dumbass. Just say it." Moo giggled but didn't answer back. I could feel my gears heat slightly. That's weird. I should get that checked out. "So, where are you from?"
"Salt Lake City, in Utah. I moved here when my parents were alive." He sighed. I ran a hand through my hair.
"If you don't mind me asking, why do you think they moved here?" Moo gave me a weird look before looking down at the ground.
"I think they wanted to get away from my grandparents. From the stories I heard from them, they aren't the nicest people. I'm sure it killed my parents to move away, no pun intended...but they had to." He finished.
"What age were you when your parents died?" Moo stuttered slightly. "I'm sorry, you don't have to answer that question." I apologized.
"It's fine." He answered. "I was fourteen when they died." He sniffled a little bit. I gulped. Suddenly Moo stopped walking. I could scan him and his emotion ran up as depressed. I don't know exactly why but my arms lifted up in a position I had never seen before. Brock looked at me for a second before hugging close to my chest. My arms rested comfortably on his back as he sobbed into my shirt. Normally I would be upset about my shirt getting wet, but this was different. I rested my chin on his head and set my body temperature warmer than it was. He wiped away his tears and just cuddled up to me. I never wanted it to come to an end. What am I doing? I shook my head and coughed slightly. Moo noticed and moved away from me. I let out a deep sigh and placed my heads back into my pockets. "I'm sorry." He croaked out. My hand reached up and pressed his cheek.
"Don't apologize for something you can't control Brock." He looked surprised that I used his real name. "I kind of like Brock better than Moo."
"Well, I like Brian so may I call you that?" He asked. Brian you have to say no. Dude what if he calls the police and can give them your REAL name. Vanoss would MURDER you. I took a deep breath and batted my eyelashes.
"Of course." I smiled. I'm so dead. I ignored my thoughts and grabbed Brock's hand. "Lead the way Brocky." He blushed lightly.
"Let's go Bri."
