What I do is hard,
It tests me everyday,
Do you want to know what it is?
It's being kind.
I smile at the kids in the hall,
I push my feelings deep down,
I be as helpful as I can be.
No one ever thanks me but that's okay,
No one does things for me in return but I don't mind,
No one notices my hidden feelings but it doesn't matter.
The only thing that matters is, Maybe just my smile made someone's day,
Maybe I helped someone get through something and now they know it gets better,
Maybe my story gave someone hope.
I got through it all,
So can you,
Never doubt your worth.
