Cascades of raindrops roll down the faces of many,
Fruitless attempts to blind thy plenty,
Ripping apart their very selves,
Done in vain but placed on shelves.

Rays of light shine through and through,
Brightening up my brand new bruise,
Soothing the souls of a grand new world,
Forgetting and letting the old be burned.

Cracks break through the blackened sky,
Excuse them while they say good-bye,
Destroy villages and towns without a care,
They send off a thousand per prayer.

Silence ensues in unawares,
Beginning to begin the nightmares,
Hope for peace and hope for life,
Thus they enter the afterlife.
