"Typical Tuesday night"

"Kinakausap mo pa 'yon?" Bumuga ng hangin si Autumn habang nakahilata sa kama ko.

"He's my co-worker bish."

"He is?" Hindi niya makapaniwalang tanong.

"I already told you that... Or didn't I?"

Napabangon siya sa pagkakahiga and her eyes were wondering. "He's your leading man right?" I nodded. "Damn, I forgot about that thing... But late reaction... What the actual f*ck?!"

Same reaction here Autumn. Mapaglaro talaga ang tadhana.

"We just did our first scene together." She gave me a 'oh gurl look' "...And it was dramatic and raw." Tumabi ako sa pagkakaupo niya sa kama at pinagpatuloy ang pagkkwento. "The scene was all about the two lovers who split up. Flashback siya kung baga."

"Kahit hindi mo na ikwento ng buo yung pangyayari kanina, I could tell that you really felt your character. It suits the story for the both of you. But... The plot is a romantic comedy right?"

Sumandal ako sa headboard. "They changed it into just pure romantic drama. I kinda like it, I'm not a humorous person, alam mo 'yon."

Autumn gave me a concern look. "What if you fall again? To him..."

Tinitigan ko lang siya. Should I answer that? Because I don't wanna speak things that might not happen or happen. But I should give it a try. "That will never happen Autumn, I've got enough of pain. Tama na yung mga gabing sinayang ko kakaiyak sa kanya. I'm disappointed that I gave him my virginity..."

"You gave what?!" I bit my lips, why did I said it? "Bish, you gave him what?"

"My body... I'm sad that broke my own promise back when I was a teen that I'll never give my purity to a man that I won't marry someday. I feel disgusting, bumigay ako sa kanya noon e... Wala, nahulog ako sa mababango niyang salita at mga pangako na napako naman."

"Oh Liah, don't be like that. You're just a human, we're only human. We can assure things but we can't predict the future because we're the one who'll make our own destiny."

Hindi ko alam kung maiiyak ba ako sa sinabi ko or sa sinabi ni Autumn, this is probably the first I heard her say something meaningful.

"You can't change the fact that I did something bad."

"It's not bad. Lahat naman tayo dadaan sa ganiyan e, it's up to us if we will take responsibility of what we did or not. People are people and sometimes we change our minds ika nga ni Taylor Swift. Hindi ko ma-explain yung meaning behind those words pero alam kong gets mo yung pino-point nito. You're also a song-writer."

I smiled at Autumn. She's really my bestfriend, for life...

Umalis ako sa pagkakasandal at yinakap ko si Autumn. "I don't know what life is without you by my side Autumn. Thank you for sticking with me for more than half of my existence."
