On weekends and holidays when they were at Hogwarts Sirius would wear Remus' jumpers and Remus would wear Sirius' leather jacket, this started one weekend because Sirius was cold and stole one of Remus' jumpers and so Remus stole his leather jacket and they've been doing it ever since.
