I ran my hands over the split in the tapestry. "Mend the bond... Mend the bond. Sticht it up. This'll change you back", I spoke cheerful. "We just need needle and thread." Ad searched for the equipments.

"You know how to stich?" Jack asked.

"For everything a first time?" I said it, but it sounded more like a question. He rolled his eyes. Dad growled. "Dad?" He chased the apples that fell from a basket. "Dad? Not now." I walked over to him. "No. Please not now", I complained. He sniffled me. "Dad?" I heard footsteps. I quickly covered his mouth. The footsteps walked past the room. Jack looked through the door window.

"It's Gobber", he hissed. I moaned and tried to pull the tapestry off the wall.

"Stoick, mate, you'll never guess who just solved our little suitor problem", Gobber called. He knocked the door next to ours and opened it. i knew exactly what he would see. The broken furniture, and most importantly, ... No dad. "Stoick!" He roared. I winced. "It can't be true! Stoick, answer me mate!" He opened all doors, ours too.

I was still trying to remove the tapestry from the wall when the door slammed open. "What?"

"Gobber, it's not what you think..." I tried to reason with him.

"Hiccup, Jack, get back!" He shouted, pushing us behind him.

"Gobber, no!" Dad was wild again and didn't recognise the man attacking him. "Please don't hurt him!" I tried to pull his arm.

"Get out of here!" Gobber roared. Dad hit me. "Hiccup, no!" He attacked dad with new force.

"No!" I yelled, just as dad hit Gobber and made him fly against the wall, where he stayed unconscious. "Dad." He was normal again, worrying sick. "It's all right. I'm all right. It's nothing. It's just a little scratch. Dad!" I tried to convince him. He shook his head and walked out of the room.

"My liege!"

"Gobber!" The chiefs came upstairs. There they faced...

"Dragon!"

I looked into the hallway. Gobber got back to his positives. "Gobber!"

"Count your stars, lads! It almost had you. Are you hurt?"

"It's your brother in law! Stoick!"

"You're talking nonsense!" He protested.

"It's the truth!" Jack replied. "There was a witch and she gave us a spell! It's not Bloodvist!"

"Bloodvist or not, I'll avenge your father!" He walked out the room. "I'll not risk losing you two, too."

"No, Gobber! Just listen to me!" He locked the door. "Listen! You can't! It's your friend, Stoick!"

"Fishlegs, keep the key and don't let them out."

"What about the dragon?" Fishlegs asked.

"Just stay put!"

I panicked completely. Jack and I tried all ways to get out. We tried to beat in the door, force the lock, ... I ran to the window and broke it. "Dad! Dad. No. Dad." I cried and laid my head on Jack's chest.

"Hey, there must be something we can do", he soothed me. I shot up. The tapestry. When we pulled together, we could finally get it off the wall. "And now Fishlegs."

"Fishlegs. Fishlegs!" I shouted. "We need you! Now!" I kept silent when I saw a little Hideous Zippleback walk in our direction. It looked way too familiar. "Oh no."

"Fishlegs", Jack sighed in relief. The servant boy gave the transformed twins a look and scared. Jack sighed. "Get the key." Fishlegs ran off, followed by the twins.

"Needle and thread. Needle and thread. Needle and thread", I muttered, searching the room. I could just hope dad was alright. I crouched next to a chest full of knitting equipment. Finally I found a needle. "You beauty!"

*Meanwhile, in the kitchen*

Fishlegs arrived in the kitchen and immediately locked the door. He barricaded it extra with everything he could find. But when he looked at the table, ...

"Aaah!" he grabbed a bucket of water. The Zippleback stood on the table. "One of the heads makes the gas, the other lights it", he muttered. On good luck, he threw the bucket over one of the heads. Trails of gas floated from its mouth. "Wrong head." After a little explosion, the young servant was unconscious.

*Back at the tapestry*

I looked up when I heard a growl. One of the Zippleback's head had the key in his mouth. Once the door was unlocked, I ran out with the tapestry. Jack made sure the twins followed. We flew out on Toothless and Snowflake, the twins between us in case they might fall. When we drove through the forest, I tried to continue the stitching.
