Akko raced along the blacktop, breathing heavily as she raced toward the towering building in the distance- the symposium. The case of her violin swung in the gentle April breeze, the folds of her sundress wrinkling and morphing and flapping as she beat feet to get to the building up ahead. She was so close..
She came to a stop just a few feet from the building, panting as she reached the cool steel double door entryway. With a wipe of her sweaty brow, she let a bold grin grace her lips, pushing foreword and through the doors.

Swift. Elegant. Mystical. All were words that easily applied to Diana Cavendish as she stood upon the symposium stage, fingers thundering softly against the keys of the grand piano, creating an entirely 'other' world. Her performance was spectacular- amazing- the most dynamic performance they had seen in ages. She took the notes of the song and morphed them, making them her own.
Diana demonstrated extreme prestige, and her piano work showcased that. As she played, the audience sat stunned, the judges shocked. When it came time to end the song, she did so with gusto, the emotion written clearly on her face as expertly blended the notes and harmonized them, finalizing her performance.
There was a moment of silence, before the crowd roared, jumping to their feet. They cheered for her like no other, and from stage left, hidden behind the curtain, Akko gaped, watching in awe.

"What do you mean you're done competing?" Hanna looked flabbergasted as she watched Diana unbutton the collar of her dress blouse, and her cufflinks soon after. "I think it's quite clear what I mean, Hanna." Her pale blue eyes glanced up, looking at her friend oddly- like she was reevaluating their friendship, or perhaps, just trying to figure out where she was going with the conversation.
"Diana that's absurd! You've been competing since you could sit on the stool!" Barbara gestured to the piano seat Diana sat upon; dark and cushioned softly, it matched the grand black piano famously, the outside waxed cleanly to perfection, the keys matching in that aspect, gleaming white. Diana brushed one finger softly against the keys, as if playing an invisible melody. She turned to look at the two of her friends, slight amusement in her tone. "I never said I was through with playing, girls."
Hanna and Barbara shared a look before glancing back at Diana. "Um.. we're not sure we like.. understand then." Barbara tried, seeming confused. Hanna looked like she might hurt herself trying to figure the puzzle out.
Diana stood in response, gingerly reaching up and forwards, her fingers gliding over the case resting raised above the keys, softly bringing it down to rest protectively over their pristine surfaces. Gathering her shoes, which the girls had not noticed she had shed and left under the seat, Diana moved to exit the stage.
With a coy smile, she bid them goodbye for the evening. "I have a prior commitment."

Ding dong
Diana stood outside the small, charming house- one of many in the cookie cutter cult de sac, waiting patiently for the door to be answered after she rang the doorbell. After a moment, she could somewhat see through the fogged glass a figure scrambling to hurry to the door and open it. There was a click, and Diana smiled as the door pulled back into the house.
"Hello, my name is Diana. I'm here to see Atsuko?" She asked politely as the woman behind the door, obviously a tad nervous, relaxed a bit. "Oh! Of course! Come right on in." The woman assured her, pulling the door wider and ushering her in. She readjusted her glass, seeming still rather nervous, especially in her small awkward smile. "I'm Ursula, Akko's Mother." Diana smiled politely yet again, although it was genuine. "A pleasure. Is Akko home currently?" She glanced around at the small quaint living room as suddenly there came a crash from down the hall.
"Oh dear.." Ursula messed with her glasses- a tick it would seem- and gestured down the hall. "She's in the music room, I think. The last door. She's been setting up for an hour or so now." She admitted, and Diana couldn't help but be a little trepidatious about what she might find. Thanking Akko's mother, she made her way down the hall, and reached the last door. A crash came from inside, and steeling her nerves, Diana pushed inside, turning the knob and stepping in.
Akko sat in the middle of a disassembled drum set, a symbol atop her head and a pout prominent upon her lips. The sight induced a slight laugh from Diana, and as Akko turned to look at her guest in surprise, a smile, followed by an embarrassed half-funny pout graced her expression.
Diana walked in, closing the door behind her. "I apologize for being late." She chuckled softly, bending at the waist and removing the symbol from Akko's head.
Akko blushed and brushed it off, shaking her head. "I'm sorry for not being ready for you to get here." She admitted herself, and Diana just smiled. "Well, I'm sure we can get this all sorted out. We'll have to work cohesively if we want to form a well managing band."
Akko didn't understand most of the sentence, but that might have been because Diana had a habit of distracting her. "Huh- Uh, Yeah, Yeah we wanna do that."
Diana sighed, shaking her head at Akko checking out of the hotel there for a moment. "Let's get started then."
And they lived happily ever after and NOTHING BAD ever happens to Akko ~OR~ **cough**KAORI**cough**
