REGINA

I stretched my arms out at both sides waking up from a goods night sleep. when I stretched my arms out I realised that I was in the king sized bed alone. I rolled over to Emma's side of the bed to see she wasn't there. "Emma?" I questioned. I hauled myself to the side of the bed to see if she had fallen out in the middle of the night. But no...Nothing. I also noticed the clothes I threw on the floor last night too where also gone. I know she has work today but normal she wakes me up too so I can say my goodbyes for the day. maybe she forgot or maybe she didn't want to disturb me...oh I don't know. I decided to ignore the fact she left without saying goodbye and continued with my daily routine.

I stumbled down the stairs still half asleep but I was thankful that I didn't have to work today but I still needed to pop into the office to check everything was still in order otherwise I would have stayed in bed all day. I made my way to the living room mirror to make sure I looked suitable but instead of doing that I caught the glimpse of what seems to be a brown box on top of the counter. I spun round and my jaw had dropped and my eyes started to fill with tears...Tears of happiness. I scurried over to the kitchen counter to be hit with the smell of cookies and apple turnovers. Mmmm Yum. My eyes switched to the sight of a bouquet of red and white roses and my face lit up with delight. No one has ever done this for me before.

I read the little note that was on top of the brown box and my face once again lit up. "I'm so lucky" I said aloud. I put the note aside and picked up the box and rattled it slightly to see if it made a noise but no...Nothing. I got a knife from the kitchen draw and cut open the box, I pulled out another box thing but this time it wasn't cardboard it was polystyrene. I cocked my head a little in confusion. what in the world?. I sliced off the sellotape and peeled back the layer of polystyrene to uncover a glass horse. Tears started to spill from my eye lids as I uncovered the glass horse..."She remembered." I murmured.

My mind wondered to the time I first sat down with Emma and told her about my past and why people thought I was 'cold hearted' and I had told her about this horse I had when I was younger and how much it meant to me...and it was kind of like family to me. I just cant believe she remembered after all this time. I picked up the glass figure from the polystyrene box and walked over to a glass cabinet to place it inside but before I did I noticed there was a small metal thing on the inside of one of its legs. I turned the figure over to see what it was only to discover if had initials written along it... E+R...My eyes started to tear up again...Emma and Regina...

I jumped into my car and started it up and made my way into the sheriffs station. I bumped into Graham but instead of saying sorry I carried on walking further into the station. I could tell Graham looked confused and it kind of made me laugh. I saw Emma in her office working on the computer. I ran up to the door of her office and burst through it. she looked scared and confused but I ignored that fact and I picked her up from her chair and spun her round to face me before she could even say a word I crashed my lips into her and she kind of just went with it which made me giggle. There we go again that giggling thing. I pulled away and said "I love you Emma Swan with all my heart" she looked at me dead in the eyes and went "Really?". "Yes Emma with everything I have...you make me happy in every possible way even when you do act like a child" I giggled. she looked at me concerned and I thought I had said something to upset her so I backed away and that's when she pulled something from out of her back pocket.

she glimmered a little side smile at me and then she got down on one knee and said the words that could change my life forever...

Regina Mills will you do the honours of becoming my future wife? Will you marry me?
