#9 Its Our Last Day

It was my last day, my last day of being with each other, my  school hosted a camp and you were sharing a tent with my squad-BLINKPINK and my girlfriend Jennie. We have a small band and soon, I'll move on to college to study management, and the girls will pursue their own careers in music. Jennie is heading to YG, Lisa to BigHit, Rosé to JYP and Jisoo to SM.

We all quietly sat at dinner, not being in too much of a mood to talk. I stared into everyone's eyes, they were so full of emotion, yet the whole table was dead silent. We had to get home early tomorrow so I quickly excused myself to my tent. The girls did the same.

I lay in my sleeping bag, Jennie tossing and turning beside me. I cuddle her closer to my chest, whispering reassuring words to her.
"Will I be okay without you my love?" She looks up at me, seeming extremely choked up.
"Shh...Jennie you'll be fine....I promise...all of you will be fine.....I'll always be you girls' top fan...." I smile at her, although I don't know if you're reassuring her or myself....

Rosie pov
Jennie just started to doze off before sobs caused her to stir awake. I look up from my phone to see Lisa, in the most vulnerable state you've ever seen her in, Lisa, the badass of the school, crying. With Jisoo getting teary eyed with her. Jennie and Y/N weren't much better, with Jennie being really upset that she can't sleep and Y/N just had all her worry and emotions scribbled on her face.
I pull the girls' sleeping bags closer to mine, and went outside.

Perfect.

My pov
Rosé sighed and took out her guitar. Music was always what she used to cope. The warm enveloping of the campfire was a huge plus.
"Stay stay stay with me"
Rosé sang, drowning in memories of the years you spent together, and how much she'd miss you. Tears slowly run down her beautiful dumpling cheeks, staining her makeup, but she couldn't care less.
"Before the dark hits me, don't leave me here all alone..."
You and the other girls perk up at the sound of your song, the first ever song you've written as a group.

Flashback
You were at an abandoned house, with a group of girls shouting and crying.
You settle the fight, and get to know these girls more.
No one had a happy story to tell.
YN: "wow, 5 girls, 5 bitter stories."
LS: "Yeah. Nothing ever compares to that one special person/few special people you love"
JS: "You know, we all have similar stories..."
YN: "In what way?"
JS: "We all lost something important."
This is when Jennie, who was rather silent throughout spoke up.
JN: "Well, since our lives are so horrible, why don't we stick with each other?"
LS: "Wow Ms. 'I am better than you all'?"
JN: "I'm serious. All I want are true friends."
YN: I guess it would be nice to not be alone...
JN: It's decided then. We are  friends now.

That was when you wrote "Stay".

End of flashback

You and the other 4 girls sit next to Rosé, she was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't notice you guys, Jennie take out a small toy hammer and hits her gently with it, snapping back into it, Rosé hits Jennie back, and the pain on everyone's face turn into laughter.
After a short moment of silence, Jennie spoke up.
"You can't perform without us Rosie." Jennie whisper-yelled at her.
Rosie continues to sing, while the rest of you waited to join in at your own respective parts, otherwise flipping through a scrapbook Jisoo put together for her final art project. You kept singing, memories flooding back to every day you spent together, it fills the air around you and at that moment, the whole world was yours. And none of you would have had it any other way.

After hours of pure bliss, the sun is rising. You all know the inevitable is coming.

Lisa, as if reading all your thoughts, stood up.
"Y'all being way too depressed for this. No one is dying, it isn't our last moment. I still need to put up with your dumb ish probably once a month-" The tears stopped her from continuing.
Jisoo then hugged Lisa, "No, We're right here, every single moment." pointing at Lisa's heart. The memories will always be here."

With one last group hug, you left the camp, all wanting to spend just a few more seconds with each other.  Holding tightly to the friendship ring you made together at the fair one year.

Jennie smiled while telling the story to her composer.
"Do you still remember the lyrics to the song?"
"F*ck yes."
"Good, your new CEO gave me the score and I love it. It will be your debut song.
"How will YG-nim have the score?"
Her manager smirked. "You don't know yet?"
"What?"
"Y/N is YG-nim's secret daughter. When he retired, she became our new CEO."
"Nah you're joking."
You waltz in a the perfect moment, and kiss your fiancée lovingly.
"Yeah she's joking, I just bought up the company."
"REALLY?"
Their composer nods and smiles.
"Oh and I forgot, meet your bandmates-Rosé, Jisoo and Lisa."
"Wait. Those names...."
"Surprise motherf***ker. You're stuck with us now."
"How TH are you in YG?"
"I was done with my bandmates." Jisoo snorted.
"My manager was awful." giggled Rosé.
"I didn't manage to debut" Lisa rolled her eyes.

Jennie: I guess we all met because our lives sucked. And now we're stuck together because our lives still sucked without each other.

After so many years, fate bought us together again. Thank you, world.
