When he awoke, Shion smelt the scent of fresh baked bread wafting into his room. His mother didn't /have/ to sell bread but she insisted. She told Shion it was Lilly; the reason she still sold bread.
/please ma'am, don't stop making bread!/
/I promise I won't./ Ever.
He lifted himself out of bed and changed his clothes.
"Good morning Mom." he yawned. His mom turned away from the oven and smiled at her son. "Good morning Shion. Are you hungry? Do you want breakfast?" She asked.
"No I'm not hungry. Plus I have something important to do."
With those words, Shion ran out the door. Karan smiled. "Energetic as ever, I see."
The bell on the door rang alerting there was a costumer. The little brown haired girl walked in.
"Good morning Lilly! Muffins as usual?" Karan asked.
The little girl nodded and handed her the change tightly clutched in her hand. In exchange, Karan handed her a bag of muffins and waved good bye.
