Shower

Hermione's pov

I looked at the clock it was 5o'clock. There was a pounding in my head, I decided to get up and have a shower. I cast a spell over my cast, arm sling and broken nose so the water wouldn't affect it. I lifted myself into the shower and let the water rinse over me, How was I meant to go on like this for a couple of months? waking up in pain.

I stepped back to rinse the Shampoo out of my hair, when my cast slipped on the bottom of the shower, I hit my nose on the wall and fell to the floor of the shower, I screamed through gritted teeth as pain went through my nose and my arm stinging with pain. I couldn't lift myself up what was I meant to do, I felt blood trickle down my face. I had no choice I couldn't lift myself up and my wand was in my room..

"MALFOY, MALFOY, MALFOY, MALFOY" I screamed trying to wake him up, there was a knock on the door

"Granger, what are you doing in there" he said sounding extremely tired

"I need you to come in here"

"But aren't you in the shower"

"Yes"

"Oh this is a new side to Granger"

"In your dreams Malfoy"

"Well then can I please go back to bed and dream about it some more" Draco asked unbothered

"Malfoy I fell down and I can't get up"

"Shit" He came running in "What do you want me to do, do you want Weasel or Potter?"

"No, I WANNA GET OF THIS DAMN SHOWER"

"Okay Okay calm down" He pulled at the shower curtain

"Stop, I'm naked"

"Right" His hand reached through the curtain and turned off the water, I sighed a relief, he handed me a green towel

"This is your towel" I said giving it back

"It's the only one that's in here Granger so either that or I'm picking you up naked" he laughed, I snatched the towel back and wrapped it around myself

"Okay" I said, he opened the curtain up and looked at me

"Merlin Granger your nose" He ran back to his room and came back with his wand, he stopped the bleeding "Want me to lift you up now?" He asked

"How are you gonna do that with one arm?" I asked

"Your not that heavy Granger" He put his hand around my waist and lifted me up so I was on my feet then moved his hands higher to lift me out the bath, I lost grip of the towel as he lifted me over, I squealed he instantly looked away as his hands touched my bare back as he put me down on the floor..

"Am I that repulsive you don't want to look at me naked?" I asked with a smile on my face, wrapping the towel around me

"Well..."

"You can look now, Thank you" I said with a smile

"What are you doing up at 5:30 anyway"

"I had a pain in my head and leg"

"We should get you to the hospital wing"

"No, I'm not going back there again, not until I need to"

"I think you need to, you have re-broken your nose and could have done damage to your leg, I'll just have to carry you there"

"And how are you going to do that with one arm and no hand?" I said sarcastically

"Granger, I just picked you up out of the shower, just listen to me we have to get you to see a nurse"

"They will be here this afternoon for check-ups"

"Granger, don't make me force you"

"Just wait till check-ups please, go back to sleep"

"Well I cant go back to sleep now I'm wide awake and wet"

"Fine"

"Need help getting changed?" he asked with a grin

"That would be helpful" I said with a grin walking out

"Are you being serious?" he asked shocked

"Malfoy..of course not"

Draco's pov

I walked back into my room to a crying Teddy.

"Granger woke you up didn't she?" I asked him sighing, now he was never gonna sleep again, I picked him up with one hand and walked into the kitchen. I put powder and milk into his bottle and with a wave of my wand heated it up, I sat him on my lap and gave him the bottle, my eyes closing slowly and my head hanging. I can't believe Granger fell in the shower, and asked for my help while she was naked, I laughed as I remembered it again and again, the way her towel fell, I instantly looked away, it wasn't because I didn't want to look it was because I know she wouldn't want me to look

"Ukkkhmm" I looked up and broke out my trance and laughed at the sight, Hermione was in her vest with a top stuck on her head

"I can't get it over my nose with one hand" She said struggling

"Ahh see granger you do need my help getting changed"

"I was perfectly fine till this happened" I laughed putting Teddy in his high chair and walked over, I pulled the caught fabric away from her nose, gripped the bottom of her shirt and tugged it down, grabbed the sling from her hands and put it over head, she placed her arm in the fabric and smiled at me

"Thanks" she muttered looking down

"Just not a word to anyone or.."

"You'll what hex me when I'm already injured, everyone knows you saved a mudblood from the fire"

"Yh...I'll have to work on that"

She limped away and slumped on the sofa, and started reading a book. I heard a small sniffle, was she crying? I gave Teddy a small piece of ham sandwich amd went to check on Granger. I heard another cry as I walked to the couch..

"Granger are you crying?" I asked leaning on the couch, she lowered her book and she hadn't been crying but you could see she was holding back tears

"What's so bad about me Malfoy?"

"What do you mean"

"Why...why does everyone hate me, pick on me all the slytherins what's so bad about me"

"Your a know-it-all-.."

"Mudblood" she sniffed "I get it, don't even know why I was asking"

"I wasn't gonna say that, I was gonna say Gryfindoor I just guess Slytherins and Gryfindoors were meant to hate each other and always will"

"I hate all you Slytherins, your all the same, weather you saved me from the fire, the shower and my T-shirt doesn't mean you've actually changed"

"What about the hospital" I asked hurt

"Yh..to think I thought you changed" Teddy started screaming, and I looked at Granger tears in my eyes, how could she after everything? I was trying, I didn't just want to throw away everything I had for one person,

"Please don't hurt me..Don't hurt me like they did" I whispered in her ear and went to sort out Teddy.
