First Date

A couple nights later Ginny had come round to Draco's in search of Hermione, but Hermione was studying in the library for the end-of-year exams which were just 2 months away and of course Hermione was the only one panicking. So Draco left Hermione to study while he toke most care of Scorpius. Draco didn't mind, he wanted Hermione to feel confident walking into the exams and he wanted Scorpius' last 2 months to be great.

Draco's pov

There was a knock on the door, I lifted Scorpius up over my shoulder as he giggled and opened the door. It was Ginny with Megan in her arms but no Harry

"Hello Ginny, what can I do for you"" I asked
"I'm just looking for Hermione" she said peering through the door

"She's studying" I said "But your welcome to come in"
"Oh good, I was hoping she wouldn't be here"

"Your lucky day then" I said shuting the door behind her "Would you like a tea or coffee" I asked standing behind her
"Oh no, I'm fine I won't be here long" She said smiling, I sat on the sofa with Scorpius on my lap bouncing him up and down

"So what can I do for you" I said, moving my attention to Ginny
"You haven't taken Hermione on a date have you"

"No, I haven't had the chance too with Scorpius and everything"
"You've been going out for 5 months Draco and this years almost over, what are you going to do once it ends"

"I want to, but I just don't know when"
"Here" Ginny said giving me a bag

"Whats in it"
"A dress"

"Ummmm"
"For Hermione stupid, Harry and I have booked you two a romantic dinner in Hogsmeade, get her to change into the dress and take her there. I'll look after Scorpius tonight, you should have a shower and get ready"

"Yes I will, can you get Scorpius' stuff, it's in his room I'll be down in a bit" I said rushing off upstairs.

I came down dressed in a black suit and green tie

"Is this okay?" I asked Ginny, she got of the sofa with Megan, Scorpius and a bag over her shoulder
"Yes you look great, now Hermione will be back any minute, have a great night" She gave me the best hug she could, when Hermione walked through her hands full of books.

"Here let me take them" I said grabbing the books, as Ginny walked out giving me a wink.
"Thank you, was that Ginny" she asked looking back

"Yep, sure was now I have a suprise for you, you need to put on this dress and meet me down here in 20 minutes, don't ask questions" I said handing her the bag Ginny gave me
"Draco"

"Shh no go go" I said shooing her off to our room

I didn't know what to expect, I hadn't seen the dress Ginny brought her. I kept my eyes focused on the door waiting for her to come out.

Eventually she did come out and she was beautiful, she was in a knee-high dress, which was tight around the waist and ruffled out, it had straps that gracefully fell of her shoulders in lace, and it was the same green as my tie, her hair was up in an elegant messy bun and matching high heels

"You look beautiful" I said as she came to stand in front of me
"Can you tell me where we are going"

"Nope hold my hand" she put her hand in mine and I apparated us to Hogsmead, outside the restaurant.

"We, my love are eating here tonight" I said pointing at the restaurant
"Draco is this a date" she squealed

"Yes, our first date" I smiled
"Oh no, wait Draco what about Scorpius" she said fast so I only just understand
