Touka:Yea,they protect your identity and sometimes they look super cool too...

Y/n:Well let's finish our shift then...

They work for a while until kankei walks in

Kankei:Hey y/n!

Y/n:Hello kankei...

Kaya raises an eyebrow

Kaya:Oh y/n? Your actually being nice? I'm impressed!

Y/n:Well I guess I'm trying...

Touka:That's good y/n!

Y/n faces kaneki again

Y/n:So what brings you here kaneki?

Kaneki:Oh I was just in the area and I remembered you worked here so I decided to stop by...

Y/n:Well thank you kaneki,would you like a drink? It's on me...

Kaneki:Sure! I'll take some of your coffee y/n!

Y/n:Why dont you go ahead and take a seat,I'll make your coffee right now...

Kankei sits down and waits

Y/n goes to the back and starts making his coffee

Touka smiles

Touka:I think you've a long way from "I hate everyone and everything " now your acting like a pretty good person...

Y/n:I'm starting to enjoy life a bit more every day...

Kaya:Hey you weren't serious about not liking any of us right? Not gonna lie if you say your were serious,I'll genuinely be hurt...

Y/n:Of course I wasnt serious...I mean you three are here so that already three people I like...

The coffee finishes

Y/n pours it in a cup and gives it to kankei

Kaneki grabs it and immediately drinks it

Kaneki:Thanks,this is really good!

He gets up

Kaneki:I should be heading out before it gets too late...

Y/n:Do you need to eat Kaneki? I'm sure we have extra food in the fridge since I dont eat much...

Kaneki:I'll be good...

Y/n grabs a bag and gives it to kankei anyway

Y/n:Just in case...

Kaneki smiles as he leaves

Y/n looks at the clock in the cafe

Y/n:Only a couple of hours left...

They continue to work and business is quiet

Y/n looks at the time

Y/n:Time to close up...

The moonlight crawls through the blinds of the cafe...

They all take off their uniforms and hang them up

Y/n:Alright let's get this mask made...

Touka walks next to y/n

Y/n:Do you have a mask already touka?

She nods

Y/n:And you kaya?

She nods as well

Y/n:Well then looks like I'm the only one without a mask...

Touka:Not after today!
