Maddie's POV I quickly got up from bed from doing nothing & headed to my bathroom. I took a quick shower & did my skin care routine. You always have to have a good skincare routine or your face ain't gonna look pretty, you know?

I texted Jabez and said
Maddie 💁🏼♀️: I'm done getting ready, so just text me when you are on your way.
Jabez 🥵: Ight, same. I'll be there in 5.
Maddie 💁🏼♀️: Okay.
I put my phone on my desk & head towards my mirror. I fix my hair a little & apply mascara & lipgloss. I head downstairs & sit in my living room.

I look at the text & head outside to see his Mercedes Benz. He lowkey got that SHMONEYYYY. Let me not. I walk to his car thinking he's going to get out the car & open the door like a GENTLEMAN, however he didn't. I opened the door & sat in the passenger seat.
"Wow, you could've open the door like a gentleman. You already suck at this to be honest" I say with a smirk. He laughs.
"I'm sorry, I'm not very good at this because I haven't been in a relationship in 2 years. Don't disrespect." He says.
I laugh.
He starts playing his music & started singing along to it. However, I knew the song as well & decided to join. We both smiled at each other while singing "Best I've Ever Had" by Drake (swipe).
After 10 minutes, we arrived at the Starbucks & walked in. I noticed his outfit & he was wearing

We both ordered our drinks. I decided to get the pink drink & since he didn't know what to get, he got the same as well. We sat down.
I pull out a piece & my LUCKY pen & place it on the table.
"So, HERE ARE THE RULES." I say. "RULES?¿" Jabez yells. He's so fucking loud for no reason. "Okay. Rule Number One. You can't kiss me in front of Vanessa, remember she's also my friend." I say. "How the hell are we suppose to "date" and not kiss?" He says. He does have a point but I don't want to kiss him if we aren't actually dating. "Fine. We can kiss but only on the cheeks." I say. "Better than nothing." He says. "Rule Number Two. We have to match outfits or somehow we match colors." I look at him & he smiles. "Is this how you want your relationship to turn out?" He laughs. I look at him & instantly started to feel embarrassed. I think he realized & instantly said "Oh, it's not bad. I think it's pretty cute." He says. I laugh. "Thank you, anyways, last rule is we can't act like we are a thing in front of Don. He'll get even more upset than what he is right now." I say.
Jabez nods.
"True, hopefully tomorrow, things will go back to normal." He says.
I nods & drink my pink drink.
"So what color are we exactly wearing tomorrow though?" He says.
"I'll need to see but I'll send you the details." I respond back.
He starts drinking his drink but I noticed that he was making faces. I started to laugh at him, he obviously didn't like the drink at all but he pretended he did.
"Having trouble there?" I say while laughing.
"How do girls enjoys this? It tastes like spoiled milk." He exclaims.
"The fact that you know how that taste like is absolutely disgusting." I say.
"Is there a problem?" He says.
"Yes, there is." I shout.
"We can solve it outside." He says while laughing.
I start to get up but he quickly ran away. I started chasing after him. We both were playing outside like if we were 5 years old again. He bend down & grabbed my legs and hung me over him.
