ok so I know I said this would post this last Friday but I forgot about some important stuff and that took precedent so sorry this is coming in late but here you go

this is the last section of @Bareford's story. my story starts about 2 days after her story ends    

Keith sat on his bed, still smiling from the amazing experience he had had. He took the box he had been given out of his pocket and opened it. inside was a ring made out of he assumed to be silver. It had roots and leave decorating the outside and it held a beautiful green jewel. on the inside lid there was an inscription:

        you don't meet a girl like that every day, and that one is a keeper. Don't let her go.

time jump 2 days (this is where my story begins)

"ok we all know what to do," Shiro says over the coms "pidge lance start gathering the people and shuttling them to the castle Hunk, Keith with me we are going to distract the rest of the galraa ships" once he finishes speaking all the lions launch from there hangers Keith, Hunk, and Shiro brake of immediately attacking the galraa cruiser and fighters about to destroy a small refugee ship pidge and lance go to the hanged of the ship and load all the various aliens on to there lions once they get all of them off the ship and to the castle pidge says

"ok everyone is on board the castle"

"ok we are done here to" Shiorreplyes as he uses his jaw blade to make a giant cut in the hull of the galraa ship making it explode "let's head back" then Hunk Keith and Shiro start to go back to the castle but then they hear a scream of pain coming from Keith the galraa ship had one last ion cannon shot left and it hit the red lion strait in the cockpit

"Keith!!!!!" Pidge screams as she shots the galraa ship making the rest of the ship self district all the lions are in there hangers at this point except for pidge who is towing Keith into her hanger when they get in she gets out of her lion and gets in the red lions cockpit to see a bloody Keith curled up in a ball next to the pilots chair she rushes to see if he is ok

"Keith wake up come on Keith wake up," she says shaking his body

"I am fine just get me to a healing pod please"

"ok," she says calming her self down "Shiro I need help caring Keith to the healing pods"

"got it o am already at your hanger so I will be there so just keep him safe" she the raps her arms around him and starts to look him over to see if there are any life-threatening wounds she sees nothing but then out of the corner of her eye she sees a small green box next to his chair as she gets up Shiro rushes in and says

"ok we need to get him to the pods now I will get one side you get the other" completely forgetting about the box she gets under Keiths left arm and Shiro is under his right and they carry him to the healing pod chamber everyone is already there waiting they get him into a pod and then take minute talking

"pidge did he say anything when you got to him," Lance said

"all he said was to get him to a healing pod that is it"

"did you see anything strange about the cockpit because a blast from an ion cannon should not have done this much harm," Coran said

"no there was nothing different about the cockpit but there was a never mind it was probably my imagination" pidge replies

"what did you see Pidge," Shiro says

"it was a small green box next to his chair" after a bit everyone leaves and goes to do there own thing but Shiro was still there the second he wakes up the pod opens and Shiro catches him and sits him up and he said

"what happened to me"

"you were hit by the ion cannon on that ship"

"how long has it been"

"about 3 Vargas" once he hears Vargas he starts frantically searching himself

"no no no no, where is it no"

"what it is Keith"

"I had a small green box with me where is it"

"pidge saw it in your cockpit it is still there"

"What Pidge saw it"

"ya? why are you acting so weird about this box what is it"

"ok so you know when we went to echo a few quintats ago"

"ya and you and pidge disappeared and then reappeared with the necklace" Keith then explains everything that happened on echo

"but when I got back to my room I found a small green box in my pocket I had never seen before so I opened it and inside was a silver engagement ring with leaf and root decoration and a green gem"

"o so the echos really ship you two"

"ya it was very awkward but not that bad" Keith blushes as he responds

"Keith do you have a crush," Shiro says with a dad grin

"I ... I don't know I don't think that is what you call this"

"ok then what do you call it" Keith sits there for a second saying nothing, then he says

"Love that is all I can think of just true love" after pausing for a few seconds he says "I am sorry I have to go and get that box before pidge dose" then Keith gets up and starts to run down the hallway

"oh Keith you are such an interesting boy," Shiro says

once Keith gets to his lion he gets into the cockpit and sees the box on the ground he walks over and picks it up the second he stands back up pidge walks into the cockpit and Keith puts his hand behind his back hiding the box

"Hey Keith," pidge says

"yes pidge do you need something" Keith responds

"well I was just wondering I saw a box in heir when you were hurt and I wanted to know what it was"

" a box I don't remember a box describe it please"

"well it is a small box about the size of the palm of my hand and it was a dark green"

"it does not ring a bell sorry if I see anything then I will let you know ok"

"ok see you later" then pidge walks out of the cockpit and out of the hanger once the door to the hanger closed he pulled his had out from his back and opened the box and says to himself

"That was way to close I know the echos really ship us but I don't know yet I have to wait to see how I truly feel but the one thing I know is I love pidge but I don't know how much yet that is what I need to know for now lets just act as nothing happened"
