Once upon a time in a country named Magia, there lived a handsome but cold hearted prince who had no siblings, and no parents. It was believed they were killed by a coven of witches, henceforth the Magia Witch Trials were born. They were a lot like the Salem Witch Trials, but so much worse. If you talked bad about the country or the prince in public, you would be classified as a witch and would be burned at the stake in front of everyone in your province. The citizens of Magia didn't believe in magic, and thought that the system was worse than hell. But the funny thing was:

Witches did exist.

There are fifteen different bloodlines/covens of witches, and each specialized in a different type of magic.

What happens when the prince holds a Selection, and a female from each bloodline were chosen to participate? And were given orders on the night of the choosing ceremony, to kill the prince? What if one fell in love with him? And he fell in love with the very thing that he vowed to destroy?
