Jennie's POV

"She's the CEO of the company that you want to invest with? You know her, right?" I raised my voice as I asked James that question.

"Yes, Jennie. And there's nothing wrong with that. You guys separated years ago." James looked outside the window of the car. We are on our way to the house he bought last year. The Prime Minister's party was just done.

"But please! Not her. I don't want to see her anymore knowing that you will put my name as the owner of the money that you will invest in her company."

"What's wrong, darling? Why do you want to avoid her?"

I sighed in disbelief. "N-Nothing."

"Do you still love the woman?"

"No! Of course not!" I hissed.

James laughed. "Okay, easy. I was just asking, you brat." Then he pinched my cheek.

"Stop it." I said then moved away from him.

Seeing Lisa at the party made my mind go messy again. On my observation, she didn't change that much. She's still the same Lisa I know. Well, maybe because I am better judging people's characteristics now than before. Seeing her at the party with her suit made me realized that it suits her better than her doctor's coat.

"By the way, if I will let you move for this project, what will you do?" The old man asked me.

"I'll ruin her company instead."

I heard him laugh. "Don't think that way, little girl. Manoban looks kind. Maybe she has her reasons why she did that thing. You know what I'm saying."

"I don't care whatever her reasons are. I have also mine to be mad at her and she deserves my anger and revenge." I opened the door as soon as the driver parked the car to the garage and went inside the house. "And I will let her taste all of those." I whispered to myself.

---

"Jennie, what are you doing here?" She asked while looking at me.

"Going to make you suffer, baby." I winked and put my silver pouch on her table while looking at the woman's beautiful eyes. Still the same but there's something wrong with it. I can sense it. "I asked if you missed me?" I asked her again for the second time. Maybe she was startled that I asked her in Spanish.

"I don't have time for your games, Jennie. You may leave my office." She looked at the papers in front of her and sighed.

"Why? You're so unfair, Lisa." I pouted. Damn, why am I doing this? I don't want to act cute but I'm playing so I don't have a choice. "Remember when you are the one who's playing? I even cooperated without knowing that I am." I said then walked towards her.

I put my hand on her right shoulder then massaged it but she pushed it away. "Stop now." She shut her eyes off.

"Who are you to stop me, Lisa-ya?" I winked.

Lisa slammed the pen she was holding to her table and harshly stood up to face me. "What do you think you are doing, Ruby Jane?!"
