I lift my head hearing footsteps approach, sure enough Frank waltzes in with more food for the ever hungry fire. "I'm getting hungry" I say as he sets the wood down, "I know I'm getting it" he says irritated. He then walks up the stairs leaving me with the dim flames. A sighs slips from my mouth and look around the area.
Grey couch sits near the reception desk and the walls plastered with graffiti. the places was pretty empty but then again I can't really see anything in this position. The red couch isn't really in a good spot for someone laying down, but it's warm at lest. I sigh again being quiet bored just laying here. It's going to hurt like a bitch if I even try...
I feel the cushion sink a bit jolting my heart rate up. "Oops forgot you were there" I hear Frank say and then see him walk over me and to the fire. "How did you forget I was here? I told you not even a hour ago I'm hungry" I stare at him blankly, he shrugs sitting down and start to gut a rabbit. I quickly turn my head away from the sight and cover my ears.
After what felt like forever I felt a light tap on my back. I slowly turn to look and see Frank holding a slice of cooked meat. I look at him dumbfounded, "want me to get up?" I ask he sighs putting the meat on a plate then slides his hands under my shoulders. He then lifts me up but pain shot through my back.
I hear him yelp with a loud crash following and even more pain following after, tears blur my vision. I hold onto the leather under me leaving my head on Frank's chest. Hearing him whimper makes me feel a little bad, "alright next time I'll just fucking hand feed you" I hear him groan. "It's getting worse" he sighs, I look up at him confused "the more you hurt the higher level of pain I feel so it gets higher the more your in pain" he explains. "Basically the more often I feel pain the pain for you gets higher each time?" I question, "that's what I said" he pulls Joey's mask down.
I look at his face, dark brown eyes that raged like burning flames, his skin is well-done tan, a scar dances along the bridge of his nose with another sitting on the left side of his lips. My eyes trail over his face knowing I won't see it often. "Your staring" Frank's harsh voice pulls me back to his eyes. "Just never seen your face" I mumble "you say this as if you have even meet me" he lays back and grabs some of the rabbit meat. "You'd be surprised on what I know" I sigh not daring to move "we got time" he says boredly.
I look to the side looking at the flames peeking from the iron furnace "I'll tell it later I'm hungry and tired" I say and on queue my stomach growls. I feel a slap on my cheek, I rise my hand up quickly only to feel a object on it. Peeling it of my cheek I look at it, it was the rabbit meat Frank tried to give me. Taking it bit by bit apart is very tedious but I can't really complain so I slowly ate it.
Frank grabs a blanket off the couch and a pillow slides off with it, he puts the pillow behind his head and throws the blanket over me. "I'm not moving you cause it hurt like a motherfucking bitch earlier" he grunts pulling Joey's mask back up. I nod my head against his chest and close my eyes, this feels oddly comfortable.
I'd like to stay like this for a while.
