You yawned sleepily. You were waiting for Sato to come home.

It had been two weeks, since you were here.

Sato was nice enough to let you stay, and eat.

You waited for Sato to come home. He still was very focused on his studies, even though Y/n was staying with him.

You remembered Sato's words before he left for school this morning.

"Y/n, I'm not going to be able to come home early tonight...I have a new job that starts, right after I get out of school." Sato said.

You sighed. "I wish I could help Sato...maybe then....he won't really be struggling so much." You said to yourself.

Then you could hear muttering outside the front door.

"Bitter....so bitter...."
"I need something sweet..."
"I need..."

Your eyes lit up. You were very sure that this voice was Sato's!

The door clicked open.
You stood by the door to greet Sato.

Sato's POV

My face was filled with disgust when I was outside.
But as soon as I saw Y/n waiting for me at the door, my face lit up. The disgusted look on my face disappeared.

My eyes shone in happiness as I saw the little angel before me.

"Welcome home Sato!!" The angel greeted.

I opened my arms wide, and Y/n jumped into my arms.

We both laughed happily. I spun the princess around in my arms.

"How were you today?" I asked Y/n as I set her down.

Y/n bit her lip. She shook her head. "It was boring!" Y/n said.

I ruffled her hair, as I stood up to close the door.

As we finished our dinner, and Y/n was already bathed, I set her to go to sleep.

As soon as I saw the little angel close her eyes. A feeling of sweetness started to spread around me ....Only Y/n could make me feel that way.

I sighed as I went out the room.

"I wish we could stay happy like this....forever." I said to myself.

"But....I need money to keep us living...for food, for living expenses, and her clothes."

I sighed in frustration...."I already had two part time jobs to keep us living....and I'm still going to school."

I opened an unused room. The locks were very high, very high, that Y/n won't even be able to open.

As I opened the room, a fainting stench slid throughout the room.

I closed the door behind me.

Red stains were painted on the walls.

I sat down on the floor, smiling as I remembered the feeling of sweetness that Y/n had given me.

"My whole life ....and the people around me. All I felt about them is bitterness...I never felt what love is... Till I saw Y/n at that alley. My emptiness was filled with her sweetness." I said.

I glared at the black trash bags that lay ahead on the floor.

"And I'll do anything to keep that sweetness with me"

----

I tiptoed quietly back into the room, and began to open my books for my homework for the next day.

"A year older than her..." I muttered.

I've found out that she was only fourteen. I'm a year older than her.

But I've kept this from her.

It was entertaining.

Seeing her act not like her age.

But because she had forgotten her memories... She's forgotten how half the world works.

"And I'd actually like to keep it that way." I whispered to myself.
