A Golden Lock of Rope

"ELENA!" I screamed, gasping for breath the moment we reached the edge of the woods which were I suppose our home free for the night. "JACK, FLYNN!"

It was dead silent in the night and if it weren't for the horses who were resting peacefully I may have thought they weren't there. I called their names again and again but I was only greeted with silence. But a few short minutes later a rustling began in the woods and finally 3 figures emerged and I recognized them immediately.

"James!" Elena called running towards her brother and giving him another hug. Without thinking much I flung my arms around both Flynn and Jack.

"Thank god you two are all right." I sighed as I pulled away to look at two very shocked boys staring at me.

"Glad your uh..." Jack cleared his thought and nodded "Glad your safe too."

"Belle gave us a ring." I told them pulling it out from my gown's pocket to show everyone "It will give us safe passage out of the kingdom and a map..." I shoved the scroll into Jack's arms.

"Alright." He nodded as Scarlet and the twin's came at my sides turning to me "When do you want to go should we have a rest or--"

"No." I said quickly shaking my head "We need to go now, Scarlet's parents know we're here and we need to get out."

"To where?" James asked me "Where do you want to go?"

"The Dark Forest." I decided with a nod "We'll find Repunzal's tower and then make our way to The Glass Kingdom, alright?"

"Sounds fair." Scarlet nodded looking over her shoulder frantically "Let's go."

We all walked to the horses and went into the usual positions as they began to gallop into the night. As I gripped onto Jack I felt myself thinking about Maleficent and her team of villains. I still couldn't get over how on earth Peter Pan was a villain, he was always one of my favourite characters in literature that I read... and Hook who I had suspected to have died was alive, but then again I supposed every villain died at the end of their tale.

"Jack," I began moving slightly so I could look at the side of his face "Peter Pan and Hook... they are both 'villains' in this whole mess right?"

"Well... yeah." Jack said slowly clearly unsure of where I was going with this. "Why?"

"If Tinkerbell was one of their capture's to use as ransom... I had always thought her and Peter were close how could they not be on the same side?"

"Oh, that." Jack nodded "Not many people know about this, why Pan went evil when he was always so beloved in Neverland but not many people know the full story and I'm assuming you're one of them."

"Where I come from he's without a doubt one of the most favoured characters of all time." I sighed "How can he be bad?"

"Everyone's suffered from heartache, whether it be love struck, family ridden, or friendship and Pan's heartache that he felt when the Lost Boys who had always been his brothers as well as a young girl he came to love left Neverland he was ridden mad with heartache. All he had left was Tinkerbell and terrorizing Hook, The Lost Boys always managed to balance Pan and Wendy was the medicine Peter needed... with only Tink he went as far as stalking onto the Jolly Roger to kill Hook which he had never really wanted to do. Though they won't admit it Hook and Peter's battles and fights were only a game to the two, Tinkerbell grew afraid of Pan's behavior and when it went as far as risked her own life she made an attempt at leaving Neverland but it didn't work. Pan's magic that he had in Neverland grew stronger and the island became a trap... no one could leave. The crew mates and Tinkerbell were stuck in Neverland with Pan who was going mad. Awhile later... I don't know how but Hook and Tinkerbell managed to get off the bloody island and were free but only for a little before Peter Pan came after them here, but finally he was captured and sent to Peninsula Prison."
