The Titan Attack

Erwin's POV

I'm with my team helping people get to the wall. I'm in a panic. Levi and I are in different places and I'm worried. I can't focus on what I'm doing. Damn it! Get your head off that and focus! After a short ride we are at our destination. Titans are everywhere. People are running around and screaming. "DEPLOY THE 3DM GEAR!!! KILL THE TITANS AND PROTECT THE PEOPLE!!!" We get off our horses and fly toward the titans. I only have one working arm so it is harder for me to kill the titans but I can still take them down. Very little citizens remain. Most of the got eaten. Some got to safety. "WE ARE MOVING TO THE NEXT TOWN NOW!! GET BACK ON YOUR HORSES!!" We ride to the next town saving as many as we can. Before moving on and on again.

Levi's POV

Titans are everywhere. How did they get everywhere so quickly? Our first town is right next to the wall and we haven't even gotten there but we are still swarmed with titans. My team is doing a good job of avoiding and only fighting when absolutely necessary. We finally make it to the town and there is almost no one still alive. There has to be thirty five titans at least, probably more. "SAFE WHO YOU CAN!!PROTECT THE PEOPLE BUT DON'T DIE!!" My squad follows the orders well. Eren isn't with us so I don't have to worry about him dying. After we are sure no citizens are left we going to the next town. After saving a lot of people there we start head to the next when we see the flair telling us to go back to the wall. "HEAD BACK TO THE WALL WHERE WE WILL MEET UP WITH EVERYONE ELSE!!!" We ride full speed to the wall. I look around frantically for Erwin. I see some of his team quickly ride to them. "Where's Erwin?!" "We got separated and lost him! We don't know where he is!" I run to find Hanji. "HANJI IM GOING TO FIND ERWIN!!" I ride off to the towns I know he had. I ride to the first one he had, going so fast I'm practically flying on my horse. I get there but there is no sign of him. I can feel the tears starting to fall from my eyes. "ERWIN WHERE ARE YOU!!!?!?!" I shout as loud as I can. "LEVI IM HERE!!!" I here a faint yelling. I run to the sound. "KEEP YELLING I NEED THE SOUND!!" "IM HERE LEVI!! IM RIGHT HERE!!" I ride into the forest where the sound is coming from. I ride to find Erwin who looks to be covered in blood slumped on a tree. I jump off my horse and run to him. "What happened?!" "I tried to save them but I was to late. I got grabbed. I was able to get out but I got really hurt and my horse is missing." "Get on mine. We are going home. I'm not going to leave you here." I throw his arm over my shoulder and help him on my horse. We ride back to where the scouts were before. They had gone inside the wall Maria and probably back to the barracks. Hanji was standing on top of the wall waiting for us. The second we came into her view she opened the gate and let us in. We went inside and Hanji got off the wall jumped on her horse and rode beside us. Once there we took Erwin to the medical rooms. A doctor came and helped him into the private room the commander has. Then they immediately started tending to his wounds. I sit silently in a chair in the the corner out of the way. Erwin is struggling to breathe and the doctors are rushing around trying to help him. I still there with silent tears streaming down my face. All of the sudden Erwin reaches his hand toward me. I stand up and rush to him. I take his hand holding it tightly. The doctors continue to rush around trying stabilize him. After what felt like an eternity the doctors get him stabilized. "His breathing is unsteady and he seems to be struggling to breathe. He should stay out of the field for a while and if you notice he seems to be having to much trouble breathing bring him here." "Alright thank you." The doctors leave and I'm left standing there crying. The cries turn into sobs. "He almost died! What the hell was I thinking letting him out there!" "Don't beat yourself up over this." The voice is frail and raspy but it is definitely Erwin's. I turn around to see Erwin propped up on pillows. I run to him, jump into his arms, and hug him tightly. "Levi-" "I do! I do! I do! I do!" It falls silent for a minute. "We can have another wedding. It will be just us two, Hanji, and Pastor Nick because he needs to be there. We never officially got married." "I know but when I thought you weren't going to make it I got scared. I thought of everything I wanted to tell you." I get up from his bed. "I'll be back soon." I walk out the door and to my room. I lay on the bed and hug my pillow with tears streaming down my face. I roll up my sleeves to see the old scars. I take my knife, that I stole back from Erwin, and run it across my wrist. I need the pain distract me and it works for a little bit then I'm back to thinking about what's going on. So I cut my wrist again and again. I hear a knock on the door. I throw on my jacket and go to the door. "Hanji I'm not in the mood." Hanji just hugs me. She puts her hands on my red, tear stained cheeks and kisses me on the forehead. She is so damn protective over me. She is kind of like the big sister I always wanted but never got. I push her away and say goodnight before shutting the door and going to bed. I lay there and stair at the ceiling.
