You picked Davi and me up from the airport. As soon as my eyes came across your smiling face I couldn't help but urge Davi to move faster so I could embrace you. It felt as though our hug lasted hours, both of us refusing to let go. When we finally did part, I felt a huge smile take over my face, my love and happiness shining through. Davi was quick to climb into your arms and replace me. I know he missed you a lot.
When we got back to your house it was nearly midnight. We spent the day together at the park, watching Davi interact with a bunch of other children. All while soaking in each other's company. After Davi laid down for bed, we sat on the couch and you got serious. You asked me why I haven't talked to you, of course I replied with the usual lame excuse of "I've been busy". I could tell you didn't buy it but you said nothing else about it. We talked for hours and by the end we were both passed out in the couch, heads leaning against each other. I've never slept better in my life.
Seeing you was a mistake because now there is no way I'll be able to let you go...
