"Bei.."
Naalimpungatan ako nung maramdaman kong my body's slightly shaking. I opened my eyes and I immediately saw Jho.
"Huh?"
Confused as I am, I sat down on the bed and looked around. Malinis na yung ibang beds. Wala na din sila Kat. I looked at Jho from head to toe and she's already dressed decently.
"Okay ka lang?" she asked worriedly.
I nodded. I don't even know why she's asking me...oh.
"Do you want to talk about it?" she asked softly before sitting on the bed with me.
I looked down on my fingers and played with it. Jhoana's my best friend. She deserves to know. Besides, I don't even know who else would listen and understand aside from her. I mean, yeah I have great friends. But having a best friend is different. Iba yung comfort na naibibigay nila kahit na they're just plainly listening to your rants.
I sighed before telling her how I ran and how I lay my back on the sand while I'm crying. I told her that Thirdy and I also texted but for only a brief moment. "Hanggang sa ayun, I didn't know what happened next."
Ang alam ko kasi nakatulog na ako. But before that, tanda ko pang naghallucinate ako na nasa harap ko si Thirdy and he called me BDL. That's really weird. He never calls me that anymore.
"How did I got here nga pala?" Maybe she knows.
There's a sudden shift of mood in the room when I asked that. Jho looked away and she was chewing her teeth when she did.
"Jho, tell me. May nangyari ba na hindi ko alam?" bigla akong kinabahan. Jhoana's gesture only shows na may tinatago siya sakin or she's hesitating to tell me something that she should.
"Pakshet bahala na." I heard her cussed under her breath before looking at me.
Nanatili akong nakaupo habang naghihintay sa sasabihin nya.
"Kagabi, lasing pa din ako nung tumakbo ka bigla. Tinatawag kita pero di ka lumilingon. Hahanapin na sana kita pero pinigilan ako ni Miguel. Bigyan ka muna daw namin ng space and dapat daw maligo muna ko ng pool para mahulasan bago ka hanapin." she sighed.
"Hindi lang naman ako ang lasing non, well, lahat naman tayo lasing pa non. Kaya it only took a matter of minutes bago sila magtumbahan lahat. Nagkanya kanya kami ng higa sa garden ni Miguel. We were too wasted Bea. I am too wasted. I told myself na I would take a nap kahit five minutes lang then saka kita hahanapin.
"Matutulog na sana ko when.." She bit her lower lip.
"Come on Jho." I told her as I start to get frustrated.
"I saw someone carrying you pabalik dito. And..and I'm not sure kung totoo yung nakita ko kasi nga lasing pa ko, pero I think I saw him."
I creased my forehead. "Who's him Jhoana?"
"T-thirdy."
Napataas ang kilay ko. "That's not possible Jho. Nasa Bohol si Thirdy, I told you that already."
"I know okay! Alam ko. But who I saw last night looks different from the Thirdy that we know." seryosong sabi niya sakin.
"What are you saying?" gulong gulong tanong ko sa kanya.
"Bea, I think—"
"Jho."
Jho was interrupted when Ate Ly suddenly barge in. I heard Jho held her breath before standing up.
