Chapter Eleven : Subject Line - Link

Riley's POV

I walk up to my room and Jade is sitting on her fish comforter bed with her tablet.

"Hey!" She says looking up at me, "Its 30 minutes after Teen Time started. Why are you late?" But she didn't stop. "Are you in trouble? Ooh your in trouble aren't you! What did you do?" She asks locking her tablet.

"I'm not in trouble." I say and sit on the bed next to hers. Mine.

"Then what's up?"

"You know, just saw Link again." I say as casually as possible. I know she loves them. Even more than I am in love with YouTube.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" She says fanning herself with her hands. "Fangirling! Fangirling!" She opera sings the second one.

"What me to email his wife? I was going to do it anyway..." I say and walk over and get my laptop. One thing my aunt did well was she bought me was a Mac. She bought it to: 'Shut me up so I don't bother her.'

I power it up and go to gmail. (Does any one want me to make another gmail for you guys to like email me?)

I go to contacts and write in Christy and put in her email. But I don't show Jade. Because Jade would email Christy nonstop. I click 'New' and begin.

Hi Link,

This is Riley. I wanted to apologize for the awkward meeting today. I guess I'm sorry that I cried. I just don't cry a lot and this whole adoption thing is stressing me out.

I wanted to let you know even if you don't adopt me, it's ok with me. Though I hope you do, I wouldn't be too terribly disappointed. You have three kids already...

I also wrote this so my friend Jade could write:

Hi! My name is Jade and I love you and Rhett! I'm a Mythical Beast to heart and I just wanted to say that you two helped me through a hard time in my life when someone was going to adopt me and then dumped it unexpectedly. I was really depressed but the daily dose of Mythicality really brightened my day. - Jade

So that's all is wanted to say. I hope I could see you and Christy again.

Sorry for another short chapter. I've got school and I run Cross Country and this week is Spirit week at my school and there is Homecoming this week too, and the homecoming fair and parade.....
