It shouldn't seem foreign to smile.
I shouldn't have to think of something funny and hold that until someone takes their picture. In fact smiling should be a second nature. Emotions other than sadness shouldn't be rare. Being afraid to use a pencil sharpener because it's too loud shouldn't be normal. Smiling despite you crying shouldn't be normal. I hurt everyone around me. It would be better if my mom had another child. And don't try to say otherwise she wanted a girl she could proudly present not someone who's shy and is always doubting. She wanted a girl who she could take countless pictures of where she was always smiling. She wanted a smart kid who was good at math like the rest of my family. She wanted a girl who enjoyed wearing dresses and being girly. She wanted a girl who was normal. She didn't want me.
