I awoke to scream-type- crying and I shot up in bed.
I look over at Pinetree and see him rubbing his eyes, he looked over to me and reached out, whimpering softly.
I go over and pick him up.
"Shhh, shh, it's fine Sapling. Your alright."
He buried his head into my shoulder and clung to my shirt tightly.
I carried him around the room gently swaying. Soon I could hear his soft snores and gentle breathing.
I go to set him down but he was stuck to my shirt like glue.
I go and sit on the bed and lean back against a stack of fluffy pillows and fall asleep.
I awaken once again around 9:00 to someone tapping my nose.
I peek out at my Sapling and watch as he continues to poke at my nose.
Suddenly I jump at him and start to tickle his sides.
"Nuu!!!" He squeals wriggling around.
I finally let him go and he crawls to the edge of the bed, ready to hop off.
I quickly pick him up before so that he wouldn't misstep and fall on his face.
Suddenly he saw something and popped right out of little space.
"Ahh! Bill? Why are you carrying, uhm, me?" I look at him confused.
" You were in little space pine tree."
I set him down and he wobbles a bit before standing up completely.
He walks over to his bag and pulls a out a small picture.
"What's that Pine tree?" I ask snapping my fingers, the picture appears in front of me and I look at it.
It was a picture of himself, Shooting Star, and two others.
"Hey! Give it back!" He says running to me.
I pull it out of his reach and he frowns.
Full on, bottom lip out, pouting.
"Who's those two?" I say frowning just a bit.
"No one." He says walking away from me.
" Don't lie to me. Who are they? " I growl.
"My mother and my ex boyfriend. " He says softly.
I growl. " Why do you have his picture?! "
" You don't need to know! Just give it back Bill. " He says.
I growl again, but I hand back the picture.
