"Are you afraid of dying?"

"No."

"Why? Why does that not scare you?"

"Because when you die there's nothing. No thoughts, our feelings just a faded heart beat within a decaying body. The memories stay, but you don't. You fall asleep forever. I don't want anyone to be pained by my death. But why would I fear dying? I fear any pain before death. I fear that it will hurt those close to me. I fear that the memories of me will cause pain rather than happiness and inspiration. But I don't fear dying. Because there is nothing to fear."
