i laid back on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

'you like kim seungmin.'

renjun's words replayed in my mind.

do i really?

i mean, he is cute...

he's always really nice to me...

then i remembered seungmin's words.

'i could just date you. then i would get to sit with you at lunch, right?'

ahhh!

i screamed in silence, because i didn't want my parents to hear me.

wait. what about chaewon?

it's too late now, i have to find a way to not like kim seungmin anymore... but how?

☆☆☆

when i sat down in my seat at school, i locked eyes with renjun.

frick, he knows...

"heh," renjun snickered.

i raised my hand up to fake hit him.

"ohp!" he said, purposely dropping his book on the floor. "can you pick that up for me?"

"you get it yourself," i said.

"aiya, you gotta do what i say, or else... i'll tell--"

"shut up!" i quickly picked up his book from the floor and threw it at him.

instead of catching it, he let it fall again.

"be nice to your secret-keeper," renjun remained still.

i rolled my eyes, picking up the book again. i placed it carefully on his desk.

"i apologize for my actions, secret-keeper," i said sarcastically. "please forgive me."

"that's more like it."

ugh, i still don't know if i can trust huang renjun.

☆☆☆

the bell rang for lunch.

"park minjoo, can you buy me a burger from the snack bar?" renjun said. "i don't feel like eating today's school lunch menu."

"oh my god," i groaned.

"no? hm..." renjun said.

he abruptly stood up from his chair.

"perhaps i shall go tell everyone!" he said, running off to the cafeteria.

"huang renjun!" i yelled, jumping out of my seat.

i crashed my knee into my desk doing so and cursed.

anger overtook pain, and i ran after renjun.

i searched for renjun once i got to the cafeteria.

he was already at the table i sit at. he glanced at me, then turned to jeno to whisper something.
