Hayden~

Things haven't been easy ever since we were told the news about Jaden and I haven't been taking it easy in my mind, but outside I pretend like things are better than they really are

I wonder why I was the one who had to endure having a possible sociopathic son. But then again I'd never wish it upon another family either so maybe I shouldn't say that

But lately things have been going okay. We've talked to Jaden many times about the puppy and he says he's sorry but I just don't think he really knows that what he did was bad. It's like coloring on the walls for him. Easy punishment

- "Maybe Janet didn't mean what she said." I reason with Michael as he steps out the shower, dropping his towel like always and looks around for the lotion, while getting the floor a little wet.

It's early in the morning and Michael has work so I'm always awake when he's awake for work

I love mornings!

- "Nah Hayden she said what she said. Obviously that's the shit she's been keepin in all these years. She thinks my issues are some typa gene. Like can Insanity be genetic Hayden? Hm?" He asks

- "Yeah. I think it can." I say pondering a little but he cuts me with a look and I clear my throat realizing I'm not helping with the situation

- "She wanted to fuck wit me and hurt my feelings. She made me feel different from the rest of my fam Hayden. She said I have the "crazy" gene." He rants, now just having a pair of boxers on and looks into the drawers for socks as I stare from the bed

- "She maybe didn't mean it." I say again and he just scoffs shaking his head. - "Okay Hayden." He says and I roll my eyes cuz everytime he ends a conversation like that, I know he's not convinced

- "Dont be mad at her. She'll be sad."

He looks back at me with cocked brows and swings the dress pants in his hands side to side

- "Are you and Janet best friends or some shit? Who the fuck cares if she's sad?" Michael asks and I point to myself with satisfied eyes

- "I like Janet! She's very helpful and convenient when it comes to Jaden and you know it. She helped me when you were gone and we've gotten closer."

- "You like everyone Hayden. Fact."

I kiss my teeth and squint my eyes. - "No I don't."

- "Uh huh." He replies and I throw a pillow that was on the bed, right at him but he dodges it like always making me just kiss my teeth again as I leave the room planning to go make breakfast for him before he leaves

Cuz breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Jaden's still sleeping and I don't have work today so I'm planning to just stay home, or if I'm bored enough, go to Aliyah's house since Michael will be gone for the morning and he usually comes back in the afternoon or evening

Pretty much only my close family knows about the sociopath situation and they told me not to worry but knowing myself worrying is a superpower.

Knowing how Michael was years back, really makes me nervous of how Jaden will be when he gets older.

Cuz Michael sure wasn't as calm and collected as he is now.

As I'm frying the eggs on the stove my mind sidetracks many times. Things are getting messed up. But Im gonna have good spirits.
