"Love cant hate, until it betrays the one it doesn't need."

Chapter Sixteen

It's like sitting in a movie.

Men after men, lined with armed guns and black tuxedo's greeted Yoongi and I as we held each other's hand. Walking towards the front gate, a burly yet kind faced man smiled at Yoongi, bowing ninety degrees in a calm greeting.

"Welcome back home, Mr. Min." He opens the gate.

As I walk past, the man gives me a kind eye-smile. The kind of innocence, that went unsaid.

I squeezed Yoongi's hand nervously.

"A-are you sure it's okay for me to come..?" I whispered into his ear, getting closer to his body feeling conscious.

All eyes were on me.

Even the cameras that we passed by as well.

Yoongi's bright gummy smile flashes across his handsome face for a moment before he leaned into my ear, lips pressed against them as he whispered,

"They like you, don't worry. If they didn't, Chief Song would have cut you then and there."

His words sent shivers down my spine. I could've died if they didn't like me?

Damn.

Just what exactly was Yoongi's father's business? I mean, I knew they were filthy rich...but...could it be out of something..more terrifying?

Forcing a smile on my face, we step through the already opened front door. The welcoming scent of pure lavender smacking me right in the nose as the bright white ceilings that hung multiple possibly thousand dollar'd chandeliers.

As we walked by, maids greeted Yoongi with kindness.

But my eyes were elsewhere.

Locked on the many picture frames of Yoongi and even more family photos.

Looking at them, I couldn't help but feel an awful ache in my heart.

I could've had that.

But.

I wiped the silent tear as it rolled down my cheek, hoping Yoongi wouldn't notice.

That family I ever had.

Had officially been sent under the ground. Resting in peace.
Or rather.
Only two.

I bite my lip, holding back a whimper as I recalled the memories of my brothers agonized face when I opened the box.

That wasn't peace.

That was hell.

Feeling a tug on my arm, Yoongi stops in place along with my own footsteps as a rather...angry...?..Looking man stood. His suit was definitely tailored, but it's rich navy blue and the sparkling gold watch that flashed from under his sleeves were enough to tell me everything.

This man, was his father.

"You're home. And I see you brought the magical lady." Yoongi's father's gaze lands on me.

Releasing my grip on Yoongi's hand, I reluctantly forced a smile and lowered my head in a bow.

"H-hello, Mr. Min. I'm—"

"Y/N, yes I know." I raised my head, slightly appalled.

He already knew me...?

Gesturing with his hand, he pointed towards the couch for us to sit in. Gladly obeying, I watched as his father sits directly across from Yoongi and I, his legs crossed over in a etiquette manner.

"Are you faring well? Y/N-ssi." Mr. Min tilts his head in a questionable manner, eyeing my facial expression as it turned dark.

"You know about..." I trailed off, seeing as he was unfazed.

"I have no reason not to continue to live my life." I sat up a little, straightening my back.

"However," I paused, interlocking my hands together.

"This threat...I'm afraid it'll cause harm to your family."

As if Mr. Min were expecting those words to leave my mouth, a wide grin formed on his lips.
He claps his hands together in unison, a hearty laugh escaping his lips.

"Very well Miss. Kim, very very well." His face twisted, turning cold.

I gulped, feeling a sudden chill go down my spine. This murderous feeling..

"You're under the protection of the Min family now Miss Kim." Mr. Min stood up, he slides his hand behind him; suavely pulling out a black pistol.

He slams the gun down against the table, a smirk curving his lips.

"Welcome to the family, Y/N."
