The date was nice. Nice is an understatement, it would have any girl fall madly in love with Thor, the way he talked and treated her all evening made her blush, but she and Thor knew that she didn't see Thor, or any man, for the matter in that way.

It was a shame, Thor was a hell of a guy but the woman couldn't see Thor as anything more than a friend, they both knew who the woman truely liked but Thor decided not to address the massive elephant in the room as they arrived back at the avengers compound.

"This was amazing, Thor." The woman spoke as they enter red the front door, Thor smiled but sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Thor spoke softly then added. "But I'm just not your type aren't I?" The woman was shocked Thor even knew they context of what he was saying, someone on the team, most likely Clint, must of taught him some things about relationships.

The woman shyly nodded her head in response. "It's nothing against you at all, I just don't like you in that way." Thor nodded understandingly, Clint had informed him that dating was all about learning if the person suited you.

"But you like Wanda in that way?" Thor asked with a smile making the girl's face light up in a red blush.

"You've noticed?"

"The teams seen the way you look at her. You two would be good for each other." He said as he patted her shoulder as the entered the elevator. "You should tell her." The girl's face flushed with colour even more.

"N-No I couldn't." The woman cleared her through hoping to stop the heat rising to her face. "It would be unprofessional."

"Would it not be unprofessional for us to go on this date?" The woman looked at Thor with wide eyes at his comment. Dammit. "What do you truely fear about confessing to her?" Thor spoke softly.

"I don't wanna get rejected." The woman spoke softly returning her gaze to the floor.

"Surely you're kidding?" Thor said with a chuckle not noticing the woman's insecurity. "Wanda likes you too! I can't believe how blind you at to that!"

The woman furrowed her eyebrows together at that, what did he mean?

"Don't you think it's strange that she spends most of her time with you? Or that she always saves you some food when you're late to breakfast? That the first person she speaks to after a mission is you?"

"Wanda likes me?" The woman said staring at Thor in disbelief.

"Yes!" Thor said with a supporting smile. The woman felt an feeling of butterflies erupt in her stomach. She had to go speak to Wanda now!

"I have to go speak to her." The woman said as the elevator stoped at the top level. As soon as the doors opened she ran out and towards Wanda's room.

When she finally reached her destination she stopped in her tracks, she hadn't thought of a way to tell her, the woman let out a sigh but before she could even compose any words a soft scarlet light envelopes around the outsides of the door.

And just like that the door opened and there she saw Wanda sitting in her bed, her head buried in a book.

"I heard you panting, thought it was something important." Wanda spoke not taking her gaze away from the book in her hand. "How was your date?" Wanda asked sounding slightly bitter.

"Honestly." The woman said as she walked into the room and sat down on the end of Wanda's bed. "It would of made anyone fall in love with the guy." The woman said, immediately regretting her word choices.

"Really?" Wanda asked sounding hurt.

"No!— well yes but I." The woman looked down and crawled up the head of the bed and sat next to Wanda.

"I don't know." The woman meant against the headboard and stared up at the ceiling. "He's a nice guy but I like someone else." Wanda immediately perked up and looked away from her book to Y/N.

"Really?" Wanda asked, her voice quite.

"Yeah. They're really cute." The woman spoke getting of track.

"Y/N." Wanda said with a smile but the woman kept talking.

"And smart, very funny and she's—"" she?" Wanda asked with an amused smile.

"I—" The woman turned to Wanda and took in her facial features. That damn witch read her mind.

"I'm sorry but your thoughts were so loud.. and cute." Wanda said as she placed her book down and leant close to the woman.

"I'm kinda glad you did, it saves me the embarrassment of confessing."

"That you are madly in love with me?" Wanda asked with a smile.

"Settle down, at least take me to dinner first."

"Alright, how about next Friday?"
