Ayyyy im back. im really sorry for not updating, i didnt really know how to continue this story and think of an ending (which i still havent figured out) but i figured out what to do with this chapter.

also, maybe its because im korean but life has been a kdrama nowadays and i havent had the time to write anything because of stupid love triangles, thotty girls and things youd only find in a wattpad story😢.
(seriously can my kdrama life stop)

anyways...

"Do you think the guys are okay? After hearing about this?" Y/N asked and looked up at the starry night above them. They were having a small date at Han River. Kai chuckled.

"I'm not sure. Jimin Hyung still seems to be upset." Kai said. Y/N sighed and leaned her head on Kai's shoulder.

"It'll be okay." Kai said and kissed her forehead.

Snap.

Y/N smiled and kissed him back on the cheek.

Snap, snap.

"Let's go back to the car and go home. It's so cold!" Kai said and wrapped an arm around her. She nodded and held his hand. The couple walked back to Kai's car happily.

Snap, snap, snap....

"What the hell is this?" Bang PD said in frustration and slammed the dispatch article on his table.

Y/N and Kai looked at it with wide eyes. On the front cover of Dispatch was Y/N and Kai on a date an Han River, kissing and holding hands intimately. Bang PD sighed and took his glasses over dramatically.

"I thought you two weren't dating? If you told me, I would have been able to protect you two from the press!" Bang PD said loudly.

Y/N and Kai bowed, feeling guilty for the scandal.

"Y/N, I expected more from you...You were so dedicated to being an idol, and I treasured that you practiced so much and tried to keep your personality amazing and real. I can't believe you would lie to me, I thought we were closer than that!" Bang Pd said. Kai stood in front of Y/N.

"Wait, sir. We weren't dating at that time. At that time, I had a one sided crush on her. I never wanted to get it out of hand and hurt her..." Kai said and held Y/N's hand. Bang PD saw this and sighed.

"Okay, fine. You both wont have consequences. I'll handle this with the press, and I'll contact the legal team to deal with defamation... You two, just go and rest." Bang PD said. Y/N and Kai bowed.

"Thank you, sir..." Y/N said and bowed again.

Kai and Y/N sat in Y/N's dark room.

"Are you okay? I've never seen him get so mad at you before. He considers you as his daughter." Kai said. Y/N nodded.

"I feel bad for disapointing him. Now he has to take care of everything to protect the company's image..." Y/N said.

"Don't feel bad. It's my fault for not being careful." Kai said and kissed her cheek. Y/N smiled up at her boyfriend.

"Go to sleep, you went through a lot today." Kai said and pat her head. Y/N nodded and held his hand one last time before letting go.

1 hour later....

Y/N's dark brown eyes were shut completely, restint her tired eyes in her dreams.

"Y/N, you'll be mine soon." a man whispered. Y/N opened her eyes to the sound of the whispering and widened her eyes when she saw a pair of unfamiliar eyes staring back at her. She opened her mouth to scream, but he hit her head in one strike, knocking her out.

.....

Kai lay in bed while staring up at the ceiling. "Ah... I wonder how Y/N is doing right now." he said with concern for her. She had always been a bit sensitive to netizens and cried by herself while looking at them.

Kai finally shot up from his bed after thinking hard.

"I have to go see her." he said and ran out the door. Kai burst into Y/N's room, only to see someone leaning over her unconsious body, tying her legs and hands together.

"Who the hell are you?!" Kai yelled. The kidnapper turned around with wide eyes.

"Don't you dare touch her, you psycho!" he yelled and ran after him. The kidnapper was cornered into the side of the room, completely unsure of what to do.

Kai pulled his hair and dragged him up and slammed him against the wall repeatedly.

"Don't you ever touch my girl again, or I'll kill you." Kai said through gritted teeth and punched him across the face making him fall the ground. Kai kicked him in the stomach again and again.

"Kai! What are you-" Jin and Namjoon looked at the situation. Kai dragged the kidnappers hair and pulled his mask down.

"M-Mr. Choi?" Kai said. Jin and Namjoon's jaw dropped while staring at the face in front of them, of the person who was supposed to protect them.

"Y/N!" Jin yelled when he saw her.

"Someone call an ambulance!" Kai yelled.

Y/N opened her eyes and looked around the white room she was inside.

"Where am I?" she asked herself and looked out the window. She could tell she was in a big hospital in the city, but was unsure why.

"Y/N! You're awake!" Kai said and lunged towards Y/N. He hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek.

"Kai? Why am I here?" she asked and grabbed his hand.

"Mr. Choi... he tried to kidnap you." Kai said. Y/N widened her eyes.

"Theres no way he would do that... Would he..?" she said. Kai nodded sadly.

"Do you feel any pain?" Kai asked. She nodded and pointed to her head.

"How long was I out?" she asked.

"A few days. I came here everyday, and so did the others. I was worried that you wouldn't wake up." Kai kissed her cheeks. Y/N smiled.

"I wouldn't leave you like that." she said and hugged him. Kai nodded and stroked her hand with his fingers.

"How are you still beautiful in a hospital gown?" he asked. Y/N blushed and hit him gently.

"Stop! You're making me shy..." she said and covered her eyes with her small hands. Kai grabbed her hands and pulled them out of the way and gave her a peck on the lips.

"I'm sorry for not getting there sooner." Kai pouted.

"Then stay by my side. Promise?" Y/N asked. Kai nodded and stook hi pinkie out.

"Promise."
