Chapter 31 Summer

I think I'm going to do one more chapter after this, then an epilogue and one more story to wrap everything up. I will, of course, be doing other Harry Potter fanfictions. I have two others which I will be working on and you guys can read those if you want?

Harry

The euphoria of Ginny's triumph had faded away, but the delightful chatter of parents awaiting their children's arrival on Platform nine and three quarters remained.

Harry and Ginny stood with Ron and Hermione, all of them smiling and talking. Harry looked around and saw Draco standing by himself, feeling bad for him, Harry waved him over. Draco grinned and made his way through the crowd, some people gave him nasty looks and others just ignored him, no body seemed to accept that he was reformed.

"Hi," Harry said, once Draco had reached them.

"Hi, how are you?" Asked Draco, "you were out for months, sorry I didn't come and see you when you woke up, I've been filling in for you at the ministry."

Harry shook his head, "no, it's fine, thanks."

Draco smiled and gave a small nod, then turned to Ginny, "and how are you?"

Harry was not sure when Draco Malfoy had come to be so polite, it was unnerving.

"I'm fine, what about you?" Ginny was smiling in a manner that suggested they were friendly.

"Good, good, things are going well with Jess...she's going to meet Scorpius today, hope that'll go well."

Just then, they all looked around as a train sounded in the distance; a scarlet snake of a train came zooming round the corner, slowing gradually to a stop. The train whistled as it pulled up by the tracks, and the doors began to open. A great puff of smoke erupted from the funnel and children began jumping out onto the platform, their luggage on trollies.

Through the crowd, Harry saw Luna and Neville greeting Sophia with joy, each hugging her tightly, then Neville took her trunk and they made their way through the barrier.

"Harry," Ginny nudged him, pointing somewhere in the distance.

Harry looked around to see James, Albus and Lily walking off the train. He watched James help Lily down from the bottom step and smiled, behind them came Teddy Lupin - who had just completed his second year of being a Quidditch apprentice at Hogwarts, he wanted to work for the ministry but was staying on to become a Quidditch teacher until he could train to be an auror.

"Ted!" A cry came from Harry's right, and he saw a great quantity of ginger-blonde hair flying out from behind a beautiful young girl - Victoire Weasley.

Sure enough, he saw Bill and Fleur standing a little while away, smiling at their daughter.

James, Albus and Lily had reached Harry and Ginny.

"Dad!" Cried James, "you're OK!" He ran towards Harry and hugged him, Lily and Albus and Ginny joined in, it was one big hug.

"Hey, Harry," said Teddy's voice, Harry removed one arm from around Ginny's waist to make room for Teddy, who joined in the hug. They all broke apart and harry led Teddy away from the others.

"How are you?" Harry asked Teddy, "are you doing all right?"

Teddy nodded, "have to wait a year or so to do some auror training, but I'm going to be teaching next year (first year flying, so it shouldn't be too difficult) and then I can train."
