"What? Why aren't you saying the same thing to Kathy? This isn't fair at all" I whined. I wished I wasn't even here. This was summer break and I would've appreciated hanging out with James instead of meeting with probable stuck-up guests.
My mother looked at me in adeadpan while my sister silently laughed at the corner, already dressed in ablack modest gown and black heels for the upcoming Sunday dinner at our home.

I grumbled silently as she led us from my room down to the entrance where we awaited my father escorting the guests inside. It didn't take long for my father to enter with them and led them to us.
I took my time to observe thefamily. The man seemed to be my father's age with long brown hair and warm blueeyes. He wore a black suit, grey shirt, and no tie. His wife had the samebrunette color of hair styled with lots of curls and blue eyes and she woretight fitted white sleeveless dress that showed a lot of cleavage and legs. Itwas very inappropriate attire, plus the condescending look she gave ourmother and sister was irritating.
Turning to their children, the youngest seemed like she was 13 and had the same colorof hair as her parents but in a ponytail and she had on a pair of glasses. Shewore a black elbow sleeved dress and white flats, while the eldest was our ageand she had long blonde curled hair, much to my confusion as the rest of herfamily were brunette, and she had blue eyes. She wore a grey long-sleeved dressand black flats.

I was mesmerized by the eldest she was extremely pretty and seemed to not be instantly infatuated with me like the other girls my age and younger in school. Just like her sister, from the 'subtle' looks and blushes she was giving me from time to time.
