VI - Call

In more less two weeks Taehyung told me he has a surprise for me. 

"It's partly from me and partly from Jungkookie too." Tae said as he drove us somewhere. 

"I see." I smiled, Jungkook left just a few days ago because of his family. Personal reasons. So I stayed at Tae's place for the time being. 

"Also I got few friends of mine to help with it too. Hope you like it." he glanced at me. 

We arrived to this apartment complex and he took me to the first floor. He then took out a key and opened one of the apartments. 

"Enjoy your new home." he then handed me the key. 

"I-is that mine?" I asked a bit shocked. He knew I couldn't afford a new apartment or rent.

"Yes. Me and Kookie got quite a lot of money for you so you have time to find a new job." Tae grinned. 

"Y-you didn't have to..." I sniffled. 

"Don't cry." he laughed and hugged me. 

So Taehyung showed me the apartment and placement of my stuff him and his friends with Kookie took from his basement to here. 

He then left me in my new house with everything I needed and a credit card from him and Kookie with money for the apartment. 

It took a bit of getting used to but by the end of the day, I was so used to my new home. I also called Jungkook and thanked him too. 

He sounded pretty depressed but thanked for the call and I managed to make him happier.

The following day I started looking for a new job. I really needed to get one ASAP. 

I scrolled down the part-time job interview offers and looked for something that payed well and wasn't too shitty or in my skill range. 

I made myself coffee and kept looking. 

And then I got it. 

"Looking for a cashier to work at weekends in a smaller local coffee shop. It's a family business, most of the employees are family but we're welcoming after all. You can become part of our family." I read the offer, it payed fairly well for a basically only weekend job.

So I applied. 

In a few minuted they let me know their suggestions for an interview. I let them know which one fits my schedule and we were set. 

"Hi Kookie." I chuckled once Jungkook picked up. 

"Morning Jimin-ssi. How's your day been going so far?" he laughed. 

"Great! I just got a job interview." I told him the news. 

"Really? Good for you bud. You know, I might come visit you tonight. I figured my family won't accept my help so why bother. Maybe I will show up only tomorrow morning but I will try making it today." he said kinda sad. 

"I'm so sorry your family didn't accept you trying to help." I whispered. 

"Oh that's okay." he giggled.
