I don't own any GOT characters or scripts, I have slightly changed the storyline to suit my character and interpretation. All rights to HBO and George R R Martin.

I also do NOT condone any behaviour displayed in the show or in this book. This relationship between my character and Ramsay is not realistic, it is far from healthy and it is far from okay.

Please read with caution, this is just a fanfiction, if you are in an abusive relationship, please try to reach out and get some help. I know it's not easy, believe me. I'm always here to listen.

Ava's POV

We were travelling through the hills. Sansa and I escaped from Kings Landing. With the help of Petyr Baelish. He had escorted us to the Vale, but after my Aunts death, I didn't know where we were headed. He had a number of knights protecting our convoy. "Avalynn, are you alright?" I looked up at him. He was a creep, and I didn't trust him. Jaime would have his head for this. I may have not loved him the way he loved me, and I desperately needed to flee Kings Landing for my life, Cersei had been looking for any excuse to execute Sansa and I. Like our father. Jaime would know I would never murder Joffrey, I didn't have the guts. "Just fine, thank you." The truth was I felt ill, I had no idea where we were going. He wouldn't tell us.

Our party stopped and Petyr opened the door of the carriage. He lead Sansa out first. He took my hand, which I very gingerly took. I stepped outside and I knew those rolling hills anywhere, we were in The North. He walked us to spot overlooking the keeps. "That's Moat Cailin." My sister observed. "Yes, it's a bit shabby isn't it? You've both been here before." I rolled my eyes, sick of the conversation and the sound of his voice. "I remember, we came here on our way to Kings Landing. With father, and Arya." It was still a very sore subject for me. I left The North as a 15 year old girl, and I was coming back an 18 year old woman. "Where are you taking us?" Sansa asked. She trusted him, I didn't know why. I hated him. Baelish smiled his perverse smile, and he paused for a second, wrapping an arm around the pair of us. "You're going home, my ladies."

I looked out over Moat Cailin, it was everything I remembered it to be. Petyr was a snob, he couldn't see the true beauty. This was The North, the most beautiful place in the world. "Now girls, as your legal guardian, I have some news I need to break to you." The cold breeze caused a shiver to run down my spine. "The Bolton's have Winterfell." He nodded. "The marriage proposal, it wasn't for you?" Petyr shook his head. He was looking directly at me. "That's what I needed to talk to you about. Avalynn, this marriage is for you." Oh fuck. I should have known better than to trust slimy Baelish. He would never marry Sansa off, he was quite clearly in love with my 16 year old sister.

"Roose Bolton murdered our brother! He betrayed our family!" Angry tears welled in my eyes, I had spent my time in Kings Landing trying to better myself, including to try and stop being so weak. "He did." Thats all the coward could say to me, he knew I was right. "Ava can't marry him! He serves the Lannisters!" Baelish sighed. "For now." I could not believe this was happening to me, but if I refused Sansa would be forced to marry him. Roose was one of the most evil men to ever walk the earth.

"We won't go there Baelish, you can't force us." I held Sansa's hand, she was terrified, she didn't know who to trust, or what to do after everything that happened to her in Kings Landing. I had got lucky. Jaime Lannister was my betrothed, he was kind to me. He never even raised his voice at me, nevermind his hand. Sansa had a terrible experience with Joffrey, Jaime's bastard son, born of incest. We had to do what we had to do, to survive. Even if that meant hiding a secret like Jaime's, or put up with beatings from Joffrey.
